Hello everybody! TheCouch at your service.

Today, I want to talk about the beautiful and yet terrifying mass of light. FIRE.

Honestly, you can make virtually anything with that in mind. Thinking literally, maybe your character's only home burned down and they need to move in with a friend. Could potentially be the perfect way to put your character in the same home as their enemy, (whether they planned on it or not.)

Think about fire in a figurative sense. Fire burns when you get too close. Make a character hurt others when they come too close. You don't even necessarily need to bring up the concept of fire, as long as you know where you're going with things.

When I hear "fire," I think of campfires. Maybe someone else will think of pyromaniacs, cigarettes, smoke or overall catastrophe.

What do you think of when you hear the word? If you really think about the idea, it might make your story easier to write.
