Wow, I love prompts. (#TheCouch)

So, who is at fault for accidentally neglecting their supporting characters? I know how easy it can be to sort of... forget about them.
Now, even if you hate your extra characters, you need to keep them roped into the story enough so that the reader understands why you created them in the first place.

I personally feel like the easiest way to get these people to directly interact with the main characters, is SHOOT THEM! Yes, you read that correctly. Shoot your supporting characters. It's up to you if they were an innocent by-stander, simply stupid, or if they actually deserved the wound.

Who doesn't feel for an injured person? Especially one who's shot. I guess this kind of prompt could go for any kind of injury. Character no one likes gets speared in battle? Perfect opportunity to reveal their true nature, and potentially alternate their personality. (Blaming the change on trauma of course.)

Just make sure you're not putting all your characters in the hospital. XD
