Hi hi!! It's been a while, hasn't it? We're not dead; don't panic. ;)

WHO'S READY FOR A LONG TIME DESERVED PROMPT??

So, Christmas is coming up fast for those who celebrate it. Those who don't celebrate it, or just don't like holiday season have obviously been dealing with the psychotic Christmas lovers.
This prompt is about those Christmas "Grinches."

Within this particular prompt, by "Grinch", it can mean someone who really hates Christmas. If you're reading this and it's not almost Christmas, or you just really don't want to think about the upcoming holiday, the Grinches you include in your story could just be grumpy, irritable people in general.
I personally, (TheCouch) can be considered a holiday grinch. My reasoning, is the obnoxious repetition of the same songs every year, as well as the excused greediness of others.
What are your Grinches' explanations?
Maybe there was a tragic incident around that time of year. Losing a loved one or losing a part of yourself on a certain day can ruin that date for years to come.
It could be a situation like mine, where the behavior of others affects my mood and attitude towards the holiday.
This prompt is mainly great for character development. If you've finally reached that point of the story that you want readers to start liking the characters you've been getting to hate this whole time, this is a great opportunity to coax the reader into a new perspective. The idea can also work as a writing exercise, so it doesn't necessarily need to be a full length story, or even apart of a story you've already begun.
I'm interested in seeing what kinds of situations and characters you all create!!

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us, despite inactivity! That includes those of you who didn't follow, but still continue to read and support silently. :)
