Hi hi, everyone!!

@TheCouch here.

I'm really sorry nothing happened on this prompt book for a few weeks. My Wattpad app was not opening up and I actually had been communicating with some really nice people from the Wattpad team about it. I'm not quite sure how many of you still are reading this, but I have three prompts for those of you who are still sticking through with this!!

Prompt One: Morality

Have you ever had the most controversial or moral-conflicting decision to make? Hopefully not, but maybe your characters will! For this particular prompt, I want you to create a moral dilemma. Have any of you read "Small Great Things" by Jodi Picoult? (Or basically anything by Jodi Picoult?) She is an author that lives by a prompt like this, creating endless moral predicaments and continues her story from there. She would be a great inspiration if you're interested in writing something for this but have no idea where to start. The basis of your moral confliction can be basically anything, but whatever it is will most definitely help you with creating a character-driven story (if that's what you aim to do) and create the overall setting.

Prompt two: After Life

I know a lot of people have been obsessing over the T.V. series "Thirteen Reasons Why" lately. The entire idea of that storyline is about what happened while the main character was alive, because after she dies the passing of the tapes begins.

Everyone seems to focus far too much on what is going on while their characters are in the midst of their lives, but no one thinks about the impact of when they are gone. This kind of prompt does not need to be included in your story, but it is mainly to start thinking about characters on a different level and simply to get ideas on the page. This can vary from a "my character goes to heaven and *this* happens," or if you're not very religious, you can always write about ghosts or the general impact of the person's passing, even if the person themselves is not in the story.

Prompt Three: A Single Sentence

Your third prompt is simply the following sentence:

"It was a meme, then a trend, then a national craze. Then it turned deadly."

Take it how you will, but I am very interested in seeing how you guys twist all three of these prompts! Be sure to tag us in your prompt chapters at contest_fun, and let us know in the comments so we can read your stories!
