Prompt 22

Imagine the devastation of losing someone close to you. Some of our fellow Wattpadders don't need to imagine, as they already have experienced this. The many emotions we demonstrate is different for each person. That's why I introduce this prompt to you:
One character is dying. They could be dying from a wound for several minutes, or they might be dying from cancer for years upon years.
Another character- close friend, family, or arch nemesis of the first character is there through out it all.
The reasoning, relationships, and aftermath (of death, or near death) are the main variables you can play with.
This really is a great way to develop the kind of emotions you want your characters -or your story overall- to relay. This would work with a one shot of fanfiction, or even a longer, original story. It also captivates the reader, depending how you develop the reasoning for the person dying, and what kind of relationship the two (or more) characters have.
This prompt is a little vague, but then there is more left to the imagination!
Happy writing!
