Heyo! Sorry that this is being posted so late. Still TECHNICALLY Sunday; you should be sleeping and wake up to this. (Those of you who see this immediately: GO TO SLEEP!!)

Things have been super busy lately. I don't know about you guys, but finals are coming up quick for the contest_fun team. I COULD make this prompt about school, but who wants to write about school when they should be doing homework? PSHH NOT ME!

So, this week's prompt.

I, (#TheCouch) got a prompt book for Christmas. (Can anyone tell how obsessed I am with prompts yet?) I flipped to a random page today, and it said "I'm in love with the exterminator."

You guys can take that in whichever way you'd like. Sure, your character could be in love with the bug exterminator. Maybe your character is the sweetest person ever, but find them self falling for a killer of *insert noun here.*  You can make basically anything work. The more ridiculous it is based on, the more experimentation you can do with you writing, and therefore, the stronger writer you will become.

Ever hear someone call you a tree-killer for using too much paper? How about you have a tree exterminator (don't question the title, just go with it). This is their career, and yet the main character slowly (or quickly) falls for them. They see the caring this person truly has underneath their harsh career.

You can set this up for a different genre too. What do you guys think of a fairy exterminator? These can be the good, OR bad kinds of fairies, depending on your personal view and opinion.

If you're not up for goody-good characters or cold hearted characters who have soft-sides hiding underneath, you can always make the main character "evil." Define evil as you will. i.e. We have a child/noun of your choice exterminator, and Mr. or Mrs. MC have their heart and soul invested in this person. Or so it seems. Perhaps they care about their love's career more than the person themself. They could be the best team. ORR you could throw a wrench in there somewhere. Character who has the job wants to stop, but other character refuses to let them and does everything in their power to make them keep going? Hm?

That got kind of off topic from the central theme, but eh. I guess I got really excited about my opposite adaptation.

You all are welcome to treat this prompt however you want, so write away!

(But seriously, if you need to be doing homework of some kind, I'm not going to be the reason that you get an F. XD)
