Hi everyone! TheCouch here.
(Yes, week after week, you must DEAL with me. GOSH) haha love you guys

Have you ever had a bad day? Of course you have. But have you ever had such a terrible day that you feel like other bad days can't even compare on the grand scale?
I'm thinking like you just cracked your phone screen, had your wallet/purse stolen, ripped your jeans in the least appropriate area and are currently hopelessly lost.
THOSE are the bad days that we will forever remember and hopefully learn from.

I want you to write about either the absolute worst day you've ever had, or make up one for a poor fictional character to go through. The trick is, is to make sure you add in logical reasoning behind everything. You can always simply write everything terrible to start warming up the creative brain, but for an actual story, you don't want the readers to say "yeah right."

Even if you do tend to go overboard on the creative coincidences, be sure to have your characters learn from those experiences, rather than letting it all go down the toilet for them to repeat again. (Unless you want them to be in an eternal loop of idiocy... 😬)

Happy writing everyone!
