PROMPT 31 GUYS WOO

I bet if you guys comment a bunch, someone else from the contest_fun team would write a prompt. ;)) (Encouraged by #TheCouch)

Soooo, it's late/early and I've already had three cups of coffee so my writing style right now seems slightly hectic, (at least to me).

Have you ever had someone say something so bizarre, or so relatable, that you had to stop for a moment and ponder? Honestly, think of both examples. Someone could have walked up to you and said "I've digested far more than I've eaten," and then walked away. I personally would have been slightly weirded out, but at least thought about what they had said, even if it wasn't necessarily accurate.

Then again, there's also the opposite example, that someone said something super relatable. Trust me, this includes roasts that just hit too close to home. i.e. "Valentine's day is close but you're still single." Or whatever. I'm not good at deep, thoughtful phrases.

Getting to the point, the prompt is to literally pick one of the two, (or both if you're a risk-taker) and add it to whichever story you're writing. Sometimes a little weird and random dialogue can be served as comic relief. Sometimes you can have a character say something really meaningful, but it's meaningful because it almost hits too close to home. Otherwise, you can always turn that into comic relief too.

BYE GOOD NIGHT/MORNING

(I'm getting worse and worse about this whole "timing" concept *nervous laughter*)
