Chapter 5- Hannah’s POV

“I need three spoons of sugar and a glass full of liquor to get over you.” The sugar babes sang and woke me up!

“Argh” I groaned. How is it 7am already? I quickly pressed the snooze button before I woke Cassie up. I knew from yesterday that she is most definitely not a morning person! I groaned once again as I got up from my bed and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and have a nice, warm shower. I came out of the bathroom after wrapping a blue towel around my body.

When I came out I saw that Cassie was still sleeping so I tip toed to the wardrobe, trying to make as less noise as possible. After 10 minutes of thinking what to wear I finally decided to wear a cream coloured sleeve-less blouse tucked into some skinny black jeans. I also wore some cute studs shaped like a bow which were also cream and a matching pearl bracelet. To finish the whole look off I decided to wear some plain back flats. After I was dressed I quickly put my hair into a quick messy side braid.

I walked inside the kitchen and I was pretty impressed. It looked neat and quite big. I opened one of the drawers to find that it was empty. I guess no one has gone grocery shopping this week. Oh well, I’ll just grab something from Costa , Starbucks is overrated, as I still have quite a lot of time left until my first lecture starts. Today I only have 2 lectures. My first one which starts at 8:45am is Art. I quickly got inside my car and drove to the nearest Costa which was about 5 minutes away and ordered a croissant and a cappuccino.

I quickly devoured my food and drove back to the University. It didn’t take me long to find the classroom I had to be in. When I stepped inside I saw Miss D’souza at the front of the class waiting for all the students to arrive. Half the class had already arrived; I sat near the back where most of the seats were empty. I stumbled my way to the chair and quickly sat down. Oh great, people are already giving me weird looks. I just sat their awkwardly looking around waiting for the class to start already.

“So my name is Miss D’souza and in this class I expect you all to listen to me, work hard and most importantly have fun.”  She said shocking the class. She looked like a very strict and rude person that all the students hate but she was the exact opposite.

Around 5 minutes into the lesson the door slammed open and in came Nate with dishevelled hair and with an apologetic look on his face. He had a red, tight fitted, polo shirt which clearly defines his abs. I can’t lie and say he doesn’t look attractive because he does. The first thought that came in to my mind when I saw him was hubba hubba!

“Sorry I’m late” he said with his deep, husky, morning voice looking at the teacher. How typical, the bad boy walking in late to class. He seems like a bad boy. He flirted with me yesterday when he didn’t even know who I was and he just has this bad boy vibe to him. I just have to stay away from him to just keep the good girl reputation I’ve had these past years in school.

“It’s fine; just don’t make it a habit.”  Miss D’souza sternly. “Take a seat in any of the spare chairs.” The teacher told him. Oh shit, I hope he doesn’t sit next to me. Crap! He’s walking towards me. He’s looking in my direction. Shit, shit, shit, shit! It’s like God enjoys troubling me, I bet he’s laughing at me at the moment.

“Hey” Nate said while he sat down next to me throwing his bag on the floor roughly. What has that bag ever done to him? Douche! He’s abusing the bag for no absolute reason.

“Hey.” I replied with a smile just so I don’t seem rude and there’s no harm in just being friendly.

“So class, today I want you to paint a portrait of yourself and surround it by the things that mean something to you. I want to see your working levels at the moment so I know how to make your grades go higher.”
