Chapter 35 (Hannah’s POV)
It’s been a week since me and Nate went to see the sunset. We still haven’t gone to the next level with our relationship. I’ve been busy with my textiles project while he’s been busy with his projects so we haven’t had the chance to hang out. However, we have been texting a lot.
At the moment it’s 7am and I’ve barely slept the whole night. I’ve had the worse cramps ever. I’m probably going to start my periods today. My cramps have never been this bad. All I’ve been doing is clutching my tummy while groaning in pain. I feel bad for Cassie since she had to put up with that the whole night. She asked if she could help with anything but there was nothing she could do.
I had so much planned for today but I don’t think I’ll be able to do it. I was going to shop for new items to put in the dorm and I was also going to but the material for the dress. I’ve finished the whole pattern. I know exactly how I want my dress but I need the materials. I haven’t decided what colour I want but I hope I’ll be able to choose when I go shopping but with these cramps I don’t think I’m going anywhere.
“HANNAH!” Nate shouted opening the door. Wow he’s lucky Cassie’s at her job otherwise he would have gotten punched. Even though Cassie’s family is rich, she wanted to earn money for herself. I probably will get a job in the second year of university since I don’t have the time at the moment and I’m still getting used to this place.
“What do you want?” I groaned.
“Here I was thinking you’d be happy to see me.” Nate sighed. How did he manage to look so attractive in the morning? Does that guy ever look ugly?
I just groaned as a reply. I got another really bad cramp. I clutched my stomach while closing my eyes. It felt like someone was plunging their hand into my stomach and pulling my guts out while another person is using my stomach as a trampoline times by 100. That’s how bad it felt.
“Are you okay? You look quite tired. Do you want me to leave?” Nate asked with a worried expression on his face.
“No and that’s because I’ve barely slept the whole night. I’ve had a horrible stomach ache.” I informed Nate. I didn’t want to tell him that I’m about to start my periods.
“Well get up and get ready, then we’ll go on a walk to the park. Maybe that will make you feel better.” Nate suggested.
“I don’t feel like leaving the dorm. I’ll go have a bath and get ready though.” I gave Nate a smile as I gathered my clothes and took a pad with me. Since I wasn’t going out I grabbed my Hello Kitty pyjamas to wear.
I later found out that I had started my periods. What a shock. Note the sarcasm. I hate the fact that my periods last for a whole week. This week is going to be the worst ever. I normally only get cramps on the first day but I’ll still be moody the whole week. Oh joy.
I quickly had a bath and came out to find Nate going through my stuff.
“Oi! Get away from my stuff.” I frowned at Nate. He was looking through the cupboard where I’ve hidden all the notes from the mysterious person. I can’t have him finding that.
“Uhh Hannah, what’s this?” Nate asked holding up the box where all the notes were in.
“N-N-Nothing.” I stuttered as I snatched the box of him and put it back. Hopefully he hasn’t seen what’s inside. I can’t have him seeing that.
“Hannah! I already saw what’s inside.” My eyes widened when I heard that. “Why didn’t you tell me about this?” Nate shouted making me flinch at his tone.
