Chapter 44 – Nate’s POV

Where the fuck is she?!

I’m standing in between all the unconscious bodies of Craig’s men alongside Noah, Kyle and Matt, searching for Hannah. I did tell her to run but I have no idea how far she went.

“Dude why don’t you call her?” Matt suggested.

So I did.

And it went to voicemail again.

“Fuck!” I exclaimed, running a hand through my hair.

“Aye dude, I got something” Noah spoke up and we all rushed towards him.

“What?” Kyle asked.

“About 10 minutes ago, Cassie went to a park near Crosswood because Hannah called her saying she was there, but when she got there, Hannah wasn’t there but her phones were all spread out across the ground”

Well that explains why she won’t pick up my phone.

“I knew I shouldn’t have let her go! Fuck this is all my fault!” I yelled, kicking one of the bodies next to me.

“Shut up Nate. It’s not your fault, right now we need to focus on finding Hannah” Kyle demanded.

“Where could she be?” Matt asked out.

“The lake is too far from here, so she hasn’t gone there and I can’t rack my brain for any other place” I mumbled.

All our faces probably mimicked each others, a few bruises here and there, our eyebrows furrowed and all of us lost in thought.

Soon though, I had an epiphany. I quickly got my phone out, checked a few things, ignoring my friends questioning and eventually I smiled as my attempts didn’t go to vain. I smirked.

“Boys, let’s go pay a visit to Craig and get my girl back” I laughed lightly alongside the boys.

Craig, you better watch out.

Hannah’s POV

I slowly started to open my eyes; blinking them a few times to get adjust them. And no, I’m not wondering what happened as people usually do, I knew what happened. Mr Wills knocked me out and brought me here. But where am I?

The area is surrounded by darkness except there are a few lamps and candles lit around here. There are a few cardboard boxes on my right hand side surrounded by dust. Near that is a broken, crooked table with a lamp on it. On my left hand side there is some sort of a cupboard and some machinery. The whole area was just scattered with pieces of wood and metal. It seems like your typical abandoned warehouse to me. However, what shocked me most were the walls. Alongside the cobwebs and chipped painting, were pictures of me. There were hundreds, even thousands of pictures of me with Nate, with family, with friends, baby pictures; all pictures of me.

Wow. Craig has a freaky obsession with me, I don’t know if I should be flattered or creeped out.

I’m crattered, yeah, flattered and creeped, crattered.

How am I right now?

I’m glad you asked. I’m currently seated on one of the most uncomfortable chairs that have ever existed, with my arms and legs tied up. I may seem calm, but to be honest with you, I’m scared shitless.

“I see you have awaken” Craig’s disgusting voice broke through, I noticed him leaning against the table smoking a joint. I made a disgusted face at the sight of it. He noticed this and chuckled, taking a drag.
