The Alpha's Rogue Mate

Chapter 14

"You got a Rogue For your mate Alpha Alex!? How could the Moon Goddess be so cruel to you," John asks.

"She wasn't cruel to me. She gave me the best thing I could've asked for," Alpha Alex says while stoking my cheek. I shove his hand away from me and glare at him.

"Don't touch me if you aren't going to let me see Eric," I say through my teeth. "In fact I'd rather be locked up in a cell than be here with you right now."

"You don't mean that," Alpha Alex tells me.

"Yes I do. You can't control a Rogue even if you wanted to," I growl at him.

"I can control anyone. I'm an Alpha and have authority that people have to listen to," Alpha Alex tells me.

"You are so ignorant. There's a reason Rogues get into all sorts of trouble. Authority doesn't work on them," I say with a slight laugh.

"I hate to say it but she's right Alpha," John says.

"No one asked you to talk mutt," I snap at John.

"You want to go again Rogue," John says while stepping closer to me.

"I'd kick your ass this time. Plus you won't have your friends to help you," I tell him.

"Get away from her John," Alpha Alex growls. "Unless you want to lose an arm."

John backs up from me but keeps his eyes on me, I cross my arms over my chest and glare at him.

"Good dog," I say.

"Go take care of the prisoner," Alpha Alex tells John.

"With pleasure," John says with a smirk on his face.

John is gone before I can protest. I look at Alpha Alex and anger runs through my body, I bring my hand up and smack him across the face. The red mark on his face satisfies me a little and I bring my hand up to do it again but he grabs my wrist and holds it so I can't move my hand.

"Let my wrist go Alpha Alex," I yell at him. "Now!"

"First of all, don't ever do that ever again or you'll regret it," he tells me. "And second, call me Alex. You're my mate, you don't have to use my title."

"I don't care if I'm your mate, you're an asshole for telling John to take care of Eric! He was my friend!"

"Vexy, listen to me."

"No! I hate you! Let me go!"

"Not till you listen to me."

"Why should I listen to you!? You're nothing but an ignorant, selfish, asshole Alpha who doesn't give a shit about anyone else!"

He doesn't say anything but instead harshly pulls me to him and crashes our lips together, I push against his muscled chest but stop when I feel his heartbeat under my hand. It feels amazing under my hand and I feel it slightly start going faster when I kiss him back.

"Let me go," I say into his lips. He doesn't though and I bite down hard on his bottom lip. He drops me and his hand goes to his lip.

"What was that for," he demands.

"When I say let me go, you let me go. Immediately."

"You are so demanding."

"Could say the same for you Alpha Alex."

He frowns at that and I smirk, which only angers him more. I get up and head out of the room to downstairs. I sit on the couch and watch the news that's on the t.v.

Apparently there was a spotting of a larger than normal wolf spotted, I lay down on the couch and see Alpha Alex standing above me behind the couch. He looks down at me and frowns, I roll my eyes and look back at the t.v.

"You don't have a shirt on," he says.

"So? It's not like anyone's gonna see me," I tell him while leaning forward and reaching for the remote. "Plus I don't have any other shirts."

"What about the tank top you were wearing earlier?"

"You mean the one with the huge scratches in the side and blood all over it?" I look at him. "Because I want to walk around in that. In winter."

"But your body heat will keep you warm."

"What body heat?"

"You're a werewolf, you're extra warm." He makes it's sound like I'm dumb. "It's one of the benefits of being what you are."

"I don't have extra body heat."

Alpha Alex lays down next to me and wraps his arms around my waist, I feel his nose in the crook of my neck.

"Jeez, you're freezing."

"Like I said. I don't have extra body heat."

"You are something different." I feel his lips on my neck, then his teeth.

I jump off the couch and walk towards the kitchen where I dig through the cupboards and the fridge for food. Alpha Alex leans against the counter and watches me, he'll try to reach for me but I move out of the way fast enough so he won't touch me. I'm starting on a meal when there's a knock on the door.

"Who's here? More of your mutts," I ask harshly.

"You'll see," Alpha Alex says while heading towards the door.

"If it's anyone else that's as heartless as you, then I'm leaving."

He doesn't answer me but instead answers the door.

"Good. You're back John," I hear Alpha Alex say.

I purposely drop the bowl I'm mixing stuff in on the ground loud enough for them to hear, then start walking towards the stairs.

"Vexy," a familiar voice says.

I spin around and rush towards the door where I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Eric! You're alive!"
