(Vexy POV)
This house is so quiet when I'm here alone, not a sound. Travis left an hour ago for his meeting and I couldn't go along, I wish I could've. I still have Travis' phone, I play games. Travis' phone starts ringing and I hesitate before answering.
"Hello," I say.
"Is Travis there," a female voice asks.
"No. Who is this?"
"This is Ruby. Who is this?"
"Vexy."
"Do you know when Travis will be back?"
"No." The door to the house opens and Travis walks in, I hold up a finger to silence him. "But I can take a message."
"Umm, just tell him to call me back."
"Okay, will do Ruby."
Travis walks over quickly and I hang up, he yanks his phone from my hand. I watch as he looks through his phone, probably seeing if I was snooping around.
"So who's Ruby," I ask after awhile.
"What did she tell you," Travis asks.
"Nothing. Just to call her back when you got home."
"She didn't say anything else?"
"No Travis. If she did I would've told you." Travis looks at me. "How was your meeting?"
"Boring." Travis sits down on the couch, I walk over and straddle his waist. "Only because you weren't there."
"Well if Xavier had allowed me to go then I would've been there." I walk my fingers up Travis' chest. "And we could've snuck away for a few minutes."
"Everyone would've gotten suspicious."
"Like I care."
I grab the collar of Travis' shirt and kiss him, he instantly responds; his hands grab my waist. I tangle my fingers into his hair, Travis suddenly stops.
"What's wrong," I ask. Travis is looking at something behind me, I turn around.
There's a girl standing by the other couch, and she looks exactly like me. I look at Travis shocked, this is like my dream all over again. I get off Travis and back away from him, I can't look at the other girl.
"Vexy," Travis says. "I can explain."
"Then explain it to me. Explain why I'm looking at myself," I say.
"This was the other spy Xavier sent in without me knowing."
"Why is it me!?"
"Because Alex knows you. And Xavier thought that if you showed up with Denali Pack then you could get loads of information out of him. Alex trusts you," the other me says. She even sounds like me.
"So what are you doing here if you're suppose to be collecting info," I ask her.
"Alex saw my flaws so I had to split. I brought Eric back here with me," she says. "Speaking of Eric, where is he?"
"Eric is a traitor," I say. "He's locked up at Dark Skies."
"Eric isn't a traitor Vexy."
"Yes he is. Alex tricked him into becoming one of his spies, Xavier even said so."
"Xavier's a liar."
"That's enough Ruby," Travis says. Ruby goes silent and Travis gets up, he walks over to me and rubs my back. "I need to talk to Vexy alone."
Ruby leaves and I look at Travis, he grabs my hands and leads me to the chair. I sit down and Travis kneels in front of me, he strokes my hands with his fingertips.
"What is it," I ask.
"You can't trust Ruby, especially since we are going to war tomorrow. I need you to stay away from her, she will feed you lies."
"What do you mean?"
"Ruby wasn't suppose to go to Full Moon as a spy, I didn't want her to go. She could've found nothing out and fed us lies. Just please stay away from her?"
"Okay, I will." Travis puts his head in my lap and I feel him sigh, I stroke his neck and smile. "I love you."
"I love you too." I feel the baby kick and Travis looks at my stomach, I have such a visible bump. Travis strokes my stomach and looks at me, I smile.
"Travis?"
"Yeah babe?"
"Will you make me some food?" Travis laughs and gets up.
"Of course."
He heads into the kitchen and I watch some t.v., my baby kicks gently every now and then. I can't wait for my baby to come out and spend the rest of life with it, and with Travis.
