"I die," I ask.

"Yes. It all started with your birth, Vexy Denali. Your mother, Annabeth, a healer with magical powers that only an Alpha female is granted with at birth. Your father, Eleazar, a skilled fighter and the next Alpha of Denali Pack. Your father was injured in battle and your mother healed him back, they soon found their Mate, each other. That night they Mated and nine months later a son was born, then a daughter; twins. Two very different children, but yet so alike, your parents were torn between who shall be the heir to the Alpha title, your mother wanted you as far from that as possible but when your powers came, they knew it had to be you. You were suppose to be meet your Mate the Alpha of Full Moon, Alexander Mason. But the thing that surprised me is why you fought the love you knew you had for Alex? Why fight off your Mate?"

"Because that's how I trained myself, to never want my Mate. If he ever came," I whisper.

"But then you stopped fighting it and he Marked you. And then you two Mated, but now everything is going down hill for you Vexy. I suspect your death is very near, especially with your broken heart." I clutch my chest. "Anyway, so on your twenty-fourth birthday you are suppose to help stop Denali, Full Moon, Knight, and Dark Skies from killing each other, but in the process, who should accidentally let his wolf get in to full control and accidentally attack you, Alex is the one to bring you your death. And there's no ending where he doesn't."

I look up at Travis but he keeps a straight face, my heart starts hurting again. I look at Astaroth and she smiles, I wipe my tears away.

"What if you change my memories? Change it so I can't remember Alex," I ask her.

"It's possible but your bond with him is strong. I can feel it," Astaroth says.

"Well that's why we came here. We know you are a miracle worker Astaroth and we are counting on you," Xavier says.

"Like I said before, her powers will make it difficult. But I will try," Astaroth says. "Is there to be a new Mate?"

"I am," Travis says.

"Then you are the only one allowed in the room," Astaroth says.

Travis and I follow after her and into a separate room, there is a bed and a table next to it with weird looking stuff on it. Astaroth gestures for me to lay down on the bed, Travis lets me go and I slowly walk over to it, I cautiously lay down. Travis stands next to the bed and looks down at me, I try to control my breathing.

"Can you make it so Vexy is just blocked from her previous memories? And have just have new memories put in," Travis asks. "Have her remember the little things like what her favorite color is, her birthday, her parents, her brother, all of the little things."

"I know what you want Travis, you want it so if Alex kisses her she'll remember everything. Just like a fairytale," Astaroth says. "That will require a very heavy price."

"This is Xavier's plan so take whatever you want from him, just don't tell him what the actual plan is."

"You are very kind Travis, I will give you what you want."

Astaroth replaces Travis and she leans in close, her fingers touch my forehead and everything goes black.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I open my eyes to see a black ceiling above me, I slowly sit up and look around the room. My eyes land on Travis and I feel happier, at least he is here with me. He isn't looking at me though, I feel like I did something bad.

"Travis," I ask. He looks up at me and smiles, I smile too.

"Vexy," Travis sounds relieved. He runs over to me and wraps his arms around my waist, I wrap my arms around his neck. I feel his nose in my neck, it feels so good to touch him.

I pull my face out and look at him, I press my lips to Travis'. I can't believe he's all mine, my Mate. I deepen our kiss and I feel his tongue on my bottom lip, I pull him down ontop of me.

"Okay you two, no Mating on the bed," a familiar voice says. Travis and I pull away from each other and look at the door to see Xavier and Eric.

"You're just jealous," I say. Xavier chuckles and we get up, I hold onto Travis' hand.

"Let's go. I wanna get home so Vexy can make me food," Eric says.

"I don't get why I spoil you Eric," I say.

Travis, Xavier, Eric, and I leave the creepy house and into the SUV, I sit up front in Travis' lap. It's a quiet ride for us but I don't mind it because I have my Mate, I trace circles into Travis' chest while he strokes my leg.

When we reach Knight Pack territory I start to get excited, I'm finally back home and I can have my way with my Mate. I look up at Travis from under my eyes lashes and try my best to look sexy, I feel something poke the back of my thigh. A smile spreads across my lips and I bury my face in his neck, the thing doesn't go away. Xavier drops us off at the house and I run inside, pulling Travis with me.

Right as Travis enters through the door I shut it behind him and push him up against it, my lips meeting his. Travis flips us over so I'm pushed against the door and he starts kissing my neck, I wrap my arms around his neck. Travis picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist, his lips meet mine again. My back hits something soft and I know it's the couch, Travis straddles my waist and look at me hungrily. Travis does the unexpected though, he gets off me and heads towards the bar.

I sit up and look at him, hurt fills my eyes. Travis pours two cups of wine and comes back over to me, he hands me one and I slowly take it. Travis sits next to me and starts drinking his wine, I just sit there looking at it.

"What's wrong," Travis asks.

"I thought we were going to, you know," I say.

"Not today, we have a meeting to go to anyway."

"We do?"

"Yeah, we have to plan our attack on Full Moon with Dark Skies."

"Okay."

For some reason I don't feel hatred toward Full Moon, I feel a kind of longing for them. I grab the bracelet around my wrist to comfort me, I don't even remember how I got this bracelet. When I try to remember how I got it, it's just a complete blur.

"Travis," I ask after we've silent for almost ten minutes.

"Yeah," he asks. He doesn't even look at me, just keeps his damn eyes on the t.v.

What the hell!? When you say someone's name that person looks at you, they don't ignore you and keeps their gaze on the fucking t.v.

"Why are we fighting Full Moon again?" I try to hide my anger.

"Because we can." He makes it sound like it's so obvious.

"What's the real reason? You just don't do to war with a Pack when you want to."

"Well Alex is cruel, fowl hearted, and has a bad temper, plus only cares about keeping his title."

"That still doesn't answer my question."

"We are going to war with Full Moon so we can..." Travis suddenly trails off.

"So you can what?"

"So we can kill Alex."
