Chapter 36

ALEX POV

(day Vexy was taken)

"What do you mean you can't find her," I yell at John who steps back from me. He must see how pissed off I am that not even my Beta can find my mate.

"We are looking for her everywhere Alpha," John tells me.

"She couldn't have be gotten far! And if you find anyone else's scent with hers, tell me right away."

"What if it's Eric's scent we found with hers?"

"Eric's!? Eric took my mate!?"

"That's not what I'm saying Alpha. I am just saying that Eric's scent was with hers. She could've simply gone on a walk with him."

"Vexy is mad at him right now, she wouldn't be on a walk with him! Now leave and find my mate!"

John leaves quickly and I start pacing around my office, I grab a lamp and chuck it across the room; it shatters and I feel a little less pissed off.

'How could lose our mate,' my wolf growls at me.

'It's not my fault, so stop blaming me! I can't watch her 24/7,' I growl back at him.

'Well you should! It's all your fault and you know it! I-'

I cut my wolf off from talking any more and I squeeze my eyes tightly shut, I hear the door to my office open and close. I smell her before I see her, I open my eyes as as she walks towards me.

"Hey Alpha Alex," she says sweetly. "I'm really sorry to hear about Vexy, I'm sure John and the others will find her."

"Thank you. But I really just want to be alone right now," I tell her. She walks over to me and grabs the collar of my shirt, she lightly presses her lips to mine. I growl and push her off, she looks at me innocently. "What are you doing!? I have a mate now and I can't mess around with you anymore."

"Oh come on Alex, we both know you can't resist me."

She presses her lips to mine again and I can't believe I'm about to do this, I take her right there on my desk.

I look at Amy's retreating back, I turn towards my desk when my chest starts to kill me. I fall to the ground, grabbing at my chest. My heart pounds like it's about to rip itself out of my chest, a loud yell escapes my mouth. John comes running in and kneels next to me.

'You brought this on yourself,' my wolf growls at me. He must be in more pain than me, his voice sounds like it's hard to even talk.

'Brought what onto myself,' I ask him.

'You mated with someone who wasn't our Mate. And now you have to live with the consequences.'

'What are you talking about?'

'You broke Vexy' s heart. And she's in pain from your betrayal now.'

"Vexy," I say.

"What about her Alpha," John asks.

The pain slowly starts to disappear and I rub at my chest, John looks at me worried. I sigh and look at John, I can't tell him what I just did. He would hate me for it, John is very strict when it comes down to mates. He was so loyal to his Mate when he had her, he'd never trust me again.

"Nothing. Just find her," I tell him. I get up and give him a stern look.

"Okay Alpha," John says. He seems confused, but I don't care right now.

My phone suddenly goes off and I answer it, I sit down in my desk.

"Hello," I say.

"Alex," Vexy whispers.

After the phone call suddenly ended between Vexy I started to feel a little better, my chest wasn't in as much pain. Her voice seem to help ease the pain, I still feel horrible for what I did. I should have never cheated on my beautiful Mate, she'll never forgive me the moment she finds out; I know she'll somehow find out. Or force me to tell her, she knows I'll tell her mostly everything. I miss her so much, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight without her sleeping next to me.

I hope whoever has my mate is taking care of her, if they don't I'll kill them. If she comes back with one scratch on her beautiful body, I'll find whoever did it and kill them.

Vexy is tough, I know she can handle herself. But it still doesn't make it right that they took her. And if it's Eric who took my mate then I'll lock him in the prison and never let him out, he can die in there for all I care.

'But then Vexy will never forgive us if we let Eric die in the prison,' my wolf says.

'She's mad at him right now and I don't know if she'll ever forgive him. Vexy won't forgive him if he kidnapped her anyway. She will come around eventually,' I tell him.

'But we want our Mate to be happy right?'

'Yes.'

'And Eric makes her happy. Well not as happy as we can, but he's her friend. And she'll miss him if he dies, even if she's mad at him.'

I realize that he's right, and then Vexy will hate me. I guess I can't kill Eric, no matter how much I want to, I can't do that to Vexy.

A knock on my door takes me out of my thoughts, I run my fingers through my hair.

"Come in," I say. John walks in with Kyle and Brandon, Eric between them.

"We found him trying to sneak back into the territory unnoticed Alpha," John tells me.

I walk over to Eric and slam him against the wall, he looks at me surprised. I growl in his face and he looks at me scared, good. I want him to be scared of me.

"Where is she," I growl in his face.

"Where's who," Eric asks me.

"Vexy. We found your scent mixed with hers. Now where the hell is she!?"

"I don't know where Vexy is. I didn't do anything to her, I wouldn't do anything to Vexy."

John pulls me off Eric and Kyle grabs him, I fight against John. He has to pull me back towards my desk so I'll stop.

"If you keep doing that then he'll never tell you where she is. I want to find Vexy as much as you,"John whispers. "Maybe not as much but she's still my Luna."

"Then make him tell me where my Vexy is,"I growl at him.

"We can't beat it out of him Alex, he'll just keep saying he doesn't know where she is. But you and I both know that Eric use to belong to Dark Skies, and that's probably where they took her. Or Travis is involved somehow, they do everything together."

"I don't care. I'll beat the shit out of him no matter what. He knows where my mate is."

I storm back over to Eric who is being held by Kyle and Brandon then slam him back into the wall, my hands on the collar of his shirt.

"I'm gonna ask one more time and you're going to give me an answer." I lean in close to his face. "Where is Vexy!?"
