(Vexy POV)
Travis carries me into the house and sets me down, I look up at him and smile. He wraps his arms around my waist, pressing his lips to mine. I wrap my arms around his neck and start kissing him back, he lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. The baby kicks and we pull away from each other, Travis looks at my stomach.
"I felt that," Travis says. He sets me down and kneels in front of me, his hands on my stomach.
"Are you ready," I ask him.
"For this?" He looks up at me. "Of course. I've waited so long for a child."
"Well if you're ready then I'm ready."
Travis stands up and looks at me, confusion all over his face.
"You weren't ready before?"
"No, I wasn't. The thought of a baby kind of scared me actually."
"Why?"
"My mother had a difficult birth with Robbie and me. Even though she was an Alpha female, it was difficult. Especially with twins. I don't want to have a difficult birth either."
"And you won't. You're strong and have Alpha blood, I'm sure you'll be fine."
"What if I'm not a good mom? I've never actually taken care of anything before, let alone a child."
"You'll be an amazing mom, Vexy. Our child will love you no matter what."
"Okay."
Travis wraps his arms around me and holds me tightly, I put my face in his chest. Travis' scent fills my nose and I take in as much of it as possible, Travis strokes my hair. The door to the house suddenly opens, I look to see Xavier; a guy with brown hair and eyes stands behind him.
"What's wrong," Travis asks.
"Full Moon's declared official war in a week," Xavier says.
"On their full moon," the brown haired guy says.
"A week? That's my birthday," I say.
"Your twenty-fourth birthday," Xavier asks.
"Yeah," I tell him.
"We can't go to war with them. Especially if it's on a full moon, their full moon. Their strength will be so great we won't stand a chance," Travis says.
"We could go in two days," the guy suggests.
"That's not enough time Will," Xavier says.
"We can still try. If they don't expect us in two days they won't be ready," I say. "We can go the ways just like we planned."
"That's actually very smart Vexy," Xavier says. "But we don't know if it'll work."
"Alpha Xavier," Marcus' voice yells. We all look at him as he comes into the house, out of breath.
"What Marcus," Xavier asks.
"They've captured Eric, sir. He's being held prisoner in Alex's prison," Marcus says.
"Shit! There goes our only spy," Travis says. I look at him shocked, Travis doesn't look at me though.
"That's not true Travis. We sent in another spy just on case something like this happened," Xavier says.
"You sent in another spy without me knowing? I thought we were in this together," Travis says.
"We are, but if you would've known we were sending her then you would've stopped us."
"You sent her in? She's flawed and hasn't studied enough yet. I could tell her apart from the real one real quick."
"She's our best asset Travis."
"She's a time bomb waiting for the perfect time to blow up in out faces. There are so many things wrong this plan of yours."
"We should really take this somewhere more private." Xavier walks past Travis, I start to follow when Travis stops me.
"You stay here. I'll be right back," Travis tells me.
"Okay," I say.
Travis kisses my forehead before following after Xavier, the door to his office door slams shut. I look at Marcus and Will, they look at each other and then at me. An awkward silence fills the room, we can slightly hear Xavier and Travis yelling at each other. I head towards the kitchen and start making myself some food, Marcus and Will sit down in front of me.
"Is there something you want," I ask them.
"Wanna make us some food," Will asks.
"No," I tell them.
"Why not," Marcus asks.
"Because I'm not a maid, that's why. And you two are capable of making yourselves food," I say.
"Oh come on Vexy. The best tasting food is only made by women," Marcus says.
"Aww, really?" They nod their heads agreeingly. "No."
"Damn, she's a hard one," Will says.
"You have no idea," Travis' voice says. I look up and see a huge bruise around his eye, I glare at Xavier. "You should see her when she's pissed off."
Travis sits on a stool and pulls me onto his lap, his hands resting on my hips. I keep glaring at Xavier while laying my head in the crook of Travis' neck, Xavier glares back.
"We have to get going. Enforcers to train, information to get," Xavier says. He takes a step towards Travis but I growl at him, Xavier backs up a little. Travis pulls away from me and makes me look at him, I just glare.
"What's gotten into you," Travis asks.
"He hurt you," I say through my teeth.
"I'm fine. Xavier and I are super close, it was an accident," Travis says.
"Yeah Vexy. I wouldn't do anything to damage mine and Travis' trust," Xavier says. I look at him, he smirks.
I pull myself out of Travis' arms and walk towards the back door, I leave and change into my wolf; a VERY long run will do me good. I haven't talked to my wolf in forever, she's never been so quiet before. I run and try to talk to her, I don't even feel her inside my head; it's like she's gone.

My paws skid to a stop when I realize I've reached the edge of Knight territory, beyond it is free land until about fifty miles; that's where it has a meadow and then Full Moon territory starts. I like the thought of Full Moon, it causes something inside me to wake up. I take a step outside of our territory and the rest of my paws follow, I take off for the meadow.
It's beautiful, even in the winter. The trees coveted in ice and snow, the snow soft and fluffy beneath me. I walk around and admire the beauty here, a twig snapping causes me to jump.
I whip around to see a huge black wolf walking towards me with, its teeth bared. I back up until I hit a tree, I sit and push myself against it. The black wolf stands in front of me and I feel it smell me, then it lays down and logos at me. My head cocks to one side and my ears perk up, very confused. The wolf yips at me before rolling on its SIDS and whining at me, I walk over and look at it.
It suddenly nudges my left with its paw and I feel it, the tingles. But that can't be possible, Travis is my Mate. I start to back away when the wolf gets up, shaking the snow off. I watch and stop, the wolf walks over to me. It presses its snout to mine and I close my eyes, I move my head so my cheek is pressed against his; I figure it's a guy. He gives off a light whine but I know it's because he likes it, I like it too. He suddenly changes and it's the last person I expected to see.
Alex Mason, Alpha of Full Moon.
