*3 years later*
"Daddy," a sweet childish voice says so happily.
"Hi Munchkin'," Alex says while picking him up. I walk over to Alex with a sweet baby girl on my hip, Alex kisses me. "Hi Vexy."
"Hi Alex," I say. Alex puts the little boy down and takes the little girl from me, kissing her cheek. "They've missed you."
"I've missed them too. And I've missed you."
Ever since I got pregnant the first time three years ago, Alex was so insistent on having another kid. First we had a handsome little boy and then a sweet baby girl just last year, Theodore and Veronica. Alex and I got married when Theo was one, I haven't been so happy in my life.
Alex pulls me to his side and Theo wraps his arms around me, I hold onto my family tightly. Theo suddenly runs off and gets picked up by my father, they walk over to us. Robbie and Anna join us with their daughter Kendall, who's Theo's age. The two kids run off and start playing around in the meadow, I smile at this perfect moment.
"So when are you leaving," Robbie asks Alex and me.
"Next weekend. Theo and Veronica will be staying with you and Anna," Alex says. He looks at my brother sternly, I see Robbie chew on his lip. "I'm trusting my beta to take good care of my Pack and family while I'm gone."
"I'll make sure he does," Anna says. Robbie was made beta of Full Moon a year after John's funeral, it was hard for Alex to replace John. "And if he doesn't I'll kick his ass."
Alex and I are going to Europe to meet some of Alex's European friends, they are also werewolves. Alex doesn't want Theo or Veronica to come along because he's afraid that one of them will meet their mates; and he doesn't want that to happen at such a young age.
Everything is going great for us, everyone is happy and safe. It's spring time now and everything is beautiful, especially Alex. He is happier and at ease now that he's done mourning, he is just so perfect.
Nothing can get better than this.
