***FLASHBACK***

**EZEKIEL**

"Shit!" I cuss when I felt something was near my stomach.

"H-hey... What happened? Are you okay?" she asked me.

I didn't answer her question because blood keep flowing from my mouth.

Argh... My peripheral vision is getting blur.

NARRATOR

Napahawak sa baba si Raine dahil sa nakikita. She looks so worried about Ezekiel.

She looked at his lower abdomen near his stomach para makita kung malalim ba ang tama nito.

"Oh my god! You need to have a emergency treatment! Your lower abdomen might have infection if it will not be treated immediately!" nagaalalang sabi nito at inalalayan si Ezekiel.

"N-no, I'm going to finish my deduction."

His head is as hard as a stone. He want to finish his deduction even though his life is on the line.

"Come on, Ezekiel. Don't act like a child! You'll continue your deduction after I take you to the Hospital!" wika nya dito at wala ng nagawa si Ezekiel at tango nalamang ang sinagot dahil kumikirot na ang malalim na sugat niya.

Unti unting inalalayan paalis ni Raine si Ezekiel papuntang exit ng AVR Monitoring System.

'He's too heavy.' naiinip man kaso walang magawa si Raine dahil may possibility na maging kritikal ang binata pag hindi nya ito agad maisugod sa hospital.

"Hold still." wika ni Raine habang binubuksan ang pinto ng AVR.

"Where do you think you two going? Sa tingin nyo makakatakas kayo sakin?" kasing lamig ng yelo ang tinig nito na agad nagparamdam ng kaba kay Raine.

'Hindi pwede. Wag ngayon 'o please.' wika nya sa isipan.

'She's here.' kahit hindi nya na kaya eh may lakas pa syang ngumisi.

"In his situation. I am afraid you cannot get the chance to escape from me." muling wika nya sa malamig parin nyang boses.

Kumawala si Ezekiel mula sa pagkaka-alalay ni Raine sa kanya at humarap sa taong kanina pa nya inaabangan.

Nagulat naman si Raine sa biglang ginawa nito. Pinanlakihan nya ito ng mata. "Ba't ka kumawala? Malalim ang sugat mo, diyos kong bata ka." giit nya rito.

Ngumisi ang taong nakatayo malapit lang sa kinatatayuan nilang dalawa. "Hmm, sa tingin ko may gana pa syang lumaban kahit may possibiliting mamatay na sya."

Ngumisi si Ezekiel sa kanya. "If you're thinking your more than stronger than me just because you are part of that group. We'll I am afraid you are not." matapang na sabi nito walang bakas na kaba ang maririnig mo sa tuno ng pananalita nya.

Nanlaki ang mata ng taong iyon ng marinig nya ang sinabi ng binata sa kanya.

'Does he know?' kinakabahang lintanya nya sa isipan.

Napangisi muli si Ezekiel. "And besides... you are the one I have been waiting to be encounter with. You are one of them, and it is my chance to get my revenge." seryoso ngunit may mapaglarong ngiti ang sumiklap mula sa labi nya.

'Revenge? Wait, does he mean the event that happened more than 20 years? I-it can't be...' kinakabahang sabi ng taong yon sa isip nya.

"Yes it can... The Tenth Cohort of Spades and the Killer of Enzo Cruz Santos... and the person behind the mask who pulled the trigger 23 years ago. I thought It was just a pure coincidence that it was you. But it isn't, is that what they called destiny? Destined to happened? Huh?
