I place my skateboard down on the cement, and take off. I listened to Twenty One Pilots through my earphones, I had it up full blast and I was singing to myself.
I reached my house on the corner and throw my skateboard on the front lawn, then pulling my skirt down slightly.
I open the front door with my keys and am greeted by my mother in the kitchen having a wine.
"May! School finished two hours ago! Where have you been?"
"Mum, chill out. I went to the diner with Evie."
"Well could you text or call next time? I was worried."
"Yes mum." I rolled my eyes and dragged myself up the stairs.
Once I reach my room I flop down on my bed and go through my phone.

Message from: Unknown
I hastily open the message to see:
Unknown: hello kitten
Who the hell is this?!
Me: um who's this??
I place my phone on the nightstand and get up, pulling uniform off and getting into the shower.
After I wash my hair and clean myself, I step out and dry my hair. I put on my oversized jumper and sweatpants on.
I check my phone to see if the Unknown number replied, and surely enough, they did.
Unknown: it's daddy princess
Me: my dad died when I was 2, you've got the wrong number
