A resounding bell startled the participants as they turned to where the sound came from. A man with a pale lavender hair with thin curly mustache and seemingly lack of mouth is standing in the middle gaining the attention of the participants.
"My name is Satotz I will be the proctor for the first phase of the exam, Follow me", said Satotz as he walks away with long strides.
The participants started to follow him. It started with walk, to a jog, and next to full blown sprint, Tsuna and Gon started to get bored as they talk to themselves.
"Ne ne Tsuna how can you drink the juice Tonpa gave us? How did you know it was poison? ne ne Tsuna nande? nande?", Gon asked eagerly (well more like bombed with questions)
"Well a certain someone I know likes to cook for me with a UNIQUE style of cooking (dangerous) and SURPRISING taste (deadly)", Tsuna said while shuddering
Somewhere in KHR:
"Aaacchhooo! my my mou! maybe reborn is thinking about me. Okay! I'll prepare a tasty (ahem!) dish for Reborn made with love!", Bianchi said while putting on the apron
Reborn flinched SLIGHTLY because hitmen do not get scared "Without Tsuna here there's no one distracting bianchi tsk!", Reborn said poker face on
Back with Gon and Tsuna:
"Then why did you throw the juice?", Tsuna asked Gon with curiosity.
I have a strong sense of smell I smelled there's poison on the juice", Gon said while smilling
Their conversation was cut when a guy their age riding a skateboard run passed them.
"Hey! you cheater everybody is also running and so SHOULD you", Leorio screamed while pointing accusingly
A white haired guy flipped his skateboard and slowed his paced to match with them, "Ne you two looked like my age, how old are you?", the white haired man said while smiling from ear to ear.
"We"re both 12", answered Gon while pointing to tsuna and himself
"Hoy! hoy! don't ignore me you cheater", Leorio shouted making a fist in his hand.
"Cheater? I don't think so the old man said to only follow him", Gon said innocently
"B-b-but!", Lerio said with a face full of surprise
"Shut up Leorio you know Gon is right", Kurapika said while hitting leorio's head
"Oh! and my names Kurapika and this grumpy one is leorio", Kurapika said while giving a nod
"My name's Killua, I'm 12 too nice too meet you, You know It's really rare to see people my age!", Killua said happily
"What the- I'm 12 too you know", Lerio said Grumpily while crossing is arms
"WHAT?", All of them asked shoccked
"You guys don't have to be THAT shocked", Leorio said feeling insulted
Their bickering continued until Killua proposed a race
"Tsuna, Gon let's race the loser will buy the winner lunch", Killua said challenging them both
Tsuna and Gon looked at each other and nodded
"Game!", Tsuna and Gon both said (I changed Tsuna's characther a serious, childish, scaredy- cat personality)
The high stairs is coming into view, the three picked up their pace leaving Leorio and kurapika in the dust. Gon and Killua are neck and neck, at the end of the tunnel there is light indicating the end of the tunnel the two picked up there paced and before their feet touch the ground a bright orange flame zoomed passed them.
Killua and Gon looked amazed when they saw the figure hovering over them, It was Tsuna, "Sugoi! sugoi! Tsuna you gotta teach us how to do that", Killua said with sparkly eyes. "Ne how did you make flames out of your hands? and teach us how to do that ne ne Tsuna", Gon said trying to persuade tsuna but failing
"Gomen ne Killua, Gon It's a secret", Tsuna said while putting his index finger to his lips
"Mou! stingy Tsuna", Gon and Killua said while pouting (Kawaii)
Hmm we have interesting batch this year Satotz thought smilling slightly (even though he looks like he doesn't have a mouth
With Leorio and Kurapika:
"Leorio those three left us in the dust and your starting looking worse for wear", Kurapika said eyeing leorio
"Oh! no no those three doofus is underestimating me especially the white haired guy", Leorio said while stripping his top suit and running wildly
Kurapika chuckled to himself waving his head and following leorio
Back with Tsuna, Gon, Killua:
Gon and Killua decided that they will pay half for tsuna's lunch
After a while people started coming out the tunnel including Leorio and kurapika. The tunnel is starting to close.
People thought that the running phase was over but is the only the beginning. The five friends started talking with each other not knowing there are a pair of eyes looking at them that has a pink hair and a unique style in clothing.
They will take the path to go to the second exam, with many tricky beasts aiming to kill them, To the swindlers swamp
