Chapter 9 - FRIEND x OR x FOE?

Tsuna woke up after a few minutes later, he smiled seeing the sleeping faces of his friends especially Leorio with saliva running down his chin. Tsuna sat up and leaned on the tree replaying the fight scene with Hisoka.

Flashback

"Killua where's Gon? I asked, the flames in my head dying down

"Tsu-chan look". Killua said pointing at the muddy grass with footprints running backwards.

I used my flames and flew as fast as I can to where Gon is. I saw Hisoka standing with piles of dead bodies around him, he looked pissed off but with a hint of amusement, why? I scanned the area and saw footprints. It must have been from Gon and the others.

"Ho? someone's brave to fight me. Ah! your the guy who know nen and uses fire. Well hello shortie wanna play". Hisoka said mockingly

I narrowed my eyes at that, swallowing the pill I activated my flames and I saw he raised his eyebrow at the sight of the pill.

Well hello shortie wanna play".

The words keep ringing in Tsuna's ears making his flames brighter. Poor Hisoka its's his fault for calling Tsuna a shortie even at the age of 12 he is shorter that all of his peers ahem! I mean just a late bloomer ahem!

A blast of full power X-Burner shot through the sky could be seen clearing out the fog to the examinees delight and a girlish scream could be heard.

"Just a little warning NEVER. CALL. ME. SHORTIE understand~". Tsuna said smiling sweetly his flame dying down, he turned around and was about to leave when he remembered something, "what is a nen and how come your not surprized about my flames?". Tsuna said crouching down to Hisoka's eye level?

"Gomen ne shor- boy! Those information are allowed only to be spoken to another hunter". he said grinning widely.

I looked at him straight in the eye, I think he'll not speak whatever I do. I started to stand up and scanned his battered body, some parts have burnts. I palmed my pocket and took out an ointment and threw it at him. I flew before he could say anything.

Hisoka's P.O.V

I looked at the ointment he gave me it was for burns. I applied them to the burns and just like magic it dissapeared the moment I put it on. I stand up and started to walk slowly I saw a piece of paper on the ground where the boy was standing early. I picked it up it wrote:

Dear Dame-Tsuna,

I sent you there so you can train don't worry about maman and your guardians I said you'll be going to Italy for 5 months or so to study there. Oh! And I also sent an excuse letter with the same story to your school. Take care Dame-tsuna and Oh! stay alive and keep your flames whereabouts a secret as long as you can.

P.S: I left your things there and some extra clothing.

(The underlined words are phrases that Hisoka Think is suspicious)

I read the letter and the more I read it the more I get confused. Italy? there's no place in here called that hmm? a headquarter maybe and pfftt! he's called dame-tsuna. Hmmm? flames? it looks like he doesn't really know nen then it must me something else and Reborn, he must be something else being able to insult him like that and those supicious pills he swallowed-it's getting late I must hurry. I slowly walked the long way to the next exam

P.O.V END

With Tsuna:

I smiled remembering that memory and I felt a LITTLE guilty. Someone cut me off from my train of thought and it was Leorio and the others waking up.

Bang! bang! bang! - the signal of the next phase of the exams starts.
