In the afternoon, a few minutes after lunch Kikyo and Kalluto were walking down the basement where Killua was kept, chained, whipped, starved and tortured. Click clack click clack click clack, down they tread heavily to the basement lighted by candles. They stood in front of a wooden door armored with steel.
"Kalluto-chan, open the door." Kikyo ordered to which Kalluto obliged. They stepped inside the dim room, filled with tools for torture and some blood on the ground.
"Kil, Have you learned your lesson yet?~" Kikyo asked Killua sweetly. Killua's hands were chained above him, his feet hanging above the ground. his face and body riddled with whip lashes and scars. His head drooped to his front and his eyes closed.
".................." Killua answered with silence, not moving.
"Its no use mama. He isn't the least bit sorry. We need to make him suffer more." Milluki said as he whipped Killua in the face, twice, to his left and right.
Bam! Kikyo closed the fan she was holding and snapped her other palm, "Milluki! Shut your mouth!" Kikyo shouted in anger.
"Tch!" Milluki said in annoyance.
"Kil, stop being so stubborn and say your sorry~" Kikyo said sweetly, the crease on her forehead unfurrowing.
Milluki watched in silence, his anger brewing, "Oh, right. That friend of yours.....Tsunayoshi was it? he was already here since yesterday's afternoon."
Killua visibly ligthened up, "Ha ha ha ha ha, I was wondering what was all that ruckus about, ha ha ha ha ha. Tsuna, that guy managed to open all doors right? ha ha ha. That show off wouldn't even teach me anything." Kilua said happily, his bright smile shocking his family.
Killua oni-sama, that smile, it's the first time I ever saw him smile so brigthly talking about someone except her..... Kalluto thought, surprised and full of envy.
Stupid litle brother, smiled? because of a person? not because of milions of ChocoRobo? Milluki thought, confused. Is that how it is to have a friend?
My dear kil, smiling? my perfect little assassin, is laughing? it is just as I thought.......................My lovely Kil has been brainwashed! friends are useless, they are nothing more but a hindrance! Kikyo thought, seething.
Killua, still laughing remembered the first time he saw Tsuna's ability. They first met each other on the first phase of the hunter exam along with Gon and others.
FLASHBACK
The high stairs is coming into view, the three picked up their pace leaving Leorio and Kurapika in the dust. Gon and Killua are neck and neck, at the end of the tunnel there is light indicating the end of the tunnel the two picked up there paced and before their feet touch the ground a bright orange flame zoomed passed them.
Killua and Gon looked amazed when they saw the figure hovering over them, It was Tsuna, "Sugoi! sugoi! Tsuna you gotta teach us how to do that", Killua said with sparkly eyes. "Ne how did you make flames out of your hands? and please teach us how to do that, ne ne Tsuna", Gon said trying to persuade Tsuna but failing.
