Chapter 15
**Darius**
“I will break you,” I stated. Then I punched him in the stomach. “I will take your pretty mate, and make you watch while I f*ck her, and hear her calling your name to save her and begging me to stop.” I punched him again. I was enraged, the dream episode still making me furious. I don’t know how Ivy made the protection avatars in Vladimir’s head. I have heard of mind links with mates, but Tristan’s presence makes that impossible. Now I just want to make Vladimir feel pain. He looked up at me, blood coating his swelling face, and he smiled. What the hell.
“You have no idea what you have done, do you?” he asked, his raspy voice barely audible. His shackled wrists rubbed raw from holding his weight, his body slumped against the wall, the only thing keeping him in any semblance of upright is the silver collar around his neck, which is also mounted to the wall, for all that, he was still fighting.
“No, why don’t you educate me.” I sneered.
“You have pissed off one femme wolf that is going to kill you, and I will get to watch her do it. God, it will be such a turn on.” I guess the look on my face was not as neutral as I thought, as Vladimir started laughing. “then, after you are dead, I will rip Julius to shreds.” The fiery red gaze was the only thing that gave away the anger he was harboring. I felt the tendrils of fear starting to grip me, which just makes me angrier. I am thinking that tying myself to Julius’ vendetta was a foolish idea, and now I am fully committed.
“You will pay for your insolence, mutt. Guards! Make sure he doesn’t sleep.” I all but screamed. Nothing is turning out like Julius has planned, and I am getting frustrated. I will soon be taking matters into my own hands. Turning around I stalked angrily out of Vladimir’s cell. Striding down the concrete, bunker-like hall, I passed many cells, full of fodder for the arena. Tomorrow, I think, we will send Vladimir into the ring, in his human form again, but to make things interesting, I will make it more of a challenge. My mind filling with the many ways I can hurt that arrogant bastard. It still irks me that that annoying little girl was able to undo all the conditioning I had on him. Feeling the need to feed, I stalked out of the facility, into the night.

**Jon**
I dismissed the boys after I read Chloe’s note.
Dear Jon:
I an sorry I left without telling anyone, but my feeling was that I was not going to be heeded, and because of that , Vladimir will die. That is unacceptable. I will need you and Vash, and as many of the pack as possible for backup, when I call for them. You will need to be ready to mobilize at a moments notice, as I cannot have you arrive in Prague too early, as a large group of werewolves would not go un-noticed. Thanks to my father, I have a very clear understanding of how the arena works, and I am the best qualified to get Vladimir out. When I get caught, as I am sure I will, I will need you to get us out. Pleas study the information I have included in this packet, and keep tabs on the boys, as they are already in place. You will be getting more information from an unlikely source, do not disregard any messengers I send your way. I am sorry. I know you are frustrated and angry at me, but I had no choice. I went to Vash first, and got no-where. I had to act before it was too late.
Chloe
Oh god, she is in danger and I don’t even know where she is. I hope the training I gave her will be enough. Picking up the phone I called Vash.
“Hey, man. I just got an envelope from Chloe. Can you meet me at the training gym in 15 minutes?” I asked.
“Yeah, we just mopped up the last of the stragglers from Julius’ raiding party. Unfortunately, only one of them lived, well, long enough to give us some information.” He said with a wry chuckle. “They already have Vladimir, and they are gunning for Chloe, to use against him, but for some other reason as well. Julius has a personal interest in her.”
“Chloe realizes her time is limited. She is setting things up for a rescue. She is certain she will be caught. Are you and your pack willing to participate in the rescue?” I asked, knowing the response.
“Of course. Just let me know. Darius orchestrated the kidnapping of my mate, that f*cking pr*ck is going to die. By my hand or yours, I don’t really care, I just want to see him burn.” The last part of that sentence was more of a snarl.
“Keep your phone on you, we will need to mobilize fast. I think we need to head to the Czech Republic now, but lay low, stay away from Prague. Maybe send in a scout, someone Darius and Julius wouldn’t recognize. We definitely need to station one or two there, and have them attend the games, the intel will be invaluable.” I paused, thinking over our strategy.
“Maybe we should send someone in that they do know. Let them see him, it would be a distraction, and then we could gage their response times, and such. Maybe plant some surveillance stuff with the intent of it being found. I think that they may be suspicious if we don’t make a show. Lets lead them on a wild goose chase. This may buy Chloe more time.” Vash murmured, almost to himself.
“I think that will work. I will see you later, get everyone on a plane, ASAP. We will regroup when we get there. Do not take direct flights, and stagger the arrival times. Large groups will stand out in airports too, and you know he has them watched.” I will arrange a meeting place, and text you. That reminds me, we will need clean, disposable phones. I want to keep chatter to a minimum. Our phones are secure, but our boys aren’t. we will deal with that later. Anything else?” I was rattling things off like a drill seargent, but I needed to go. Just as I was going to hang up the phone I thought of the perfect person to send in as a decoy. “ how about Kyle and one of the others?” I asked Vash. “I know Kyle has been broken up about letting Isa hit Chloe, this would give him a chance to redeem himself.” I said.
“He would be good, and I can send Zeke also, he will be here within the hour. His mate wants to visit with Ivy. He will have a good time with this.” I heard a low chuckle. They messed with the wrong family when they took my brother.” He paused and said almost too low for me to hear, “I am the only one allowed to beat the p*ss out of him.”
With a few polite pleasantries, I managed to finish the call with Vash, and hung up. I grabbed my jacket and headed out to my flat. I needed to pack and get myself on the next flight out.
