[4] A few Questions

Steves POV.:

We arrived back at the tower with the woman we found at one of the last buildings we knew of from hydra. Tony and I brought her to one of the the cells that were see trough that could hold against almost everything. Stark said it was to make sure she wasn't going to attack us. I knew she got experimented on. I knew she was supposed to be dangerous but when I saw Claire laying on the bed in the cell, she looked so innocent. Even her file wasn't suspicious. She was just a normal 20 year old girl until she "disappeared" a few years ago.

"Do you think she already went on a mission?Or even killed someone?"
I asked Stark while we waited outside of the glass cell.

"Definitely. I mean she was there for 3 years." he responded while crossing his arms. "But more importantly, what can she do? You acted like you "knew what she was capable of", but you didn't!"

He looked at me and I responded
"Well I had to improvise, I mean I was just getting choked by-"
but Tony interrupted me with a smirk "-a 23 year old girl."
Then he turned back to Claire and we saw her slowly getting up.

Claires POV.:

When i opened my eyes I saw a white wall. I sat up and saw two men looking at me but I just recognized the blonde guy, this time he wasn't wearing the suit anymore.

"Good morning sunshine!"
said the brunette and I responded "Well it isn't a good morning yet, its just a weird one."
"Sarcastic!'"he said while turning to look at the blonde man and added
"I already like her."

He ignored his comment and just said "Sorry that I couldn't introduce myself yet but I am Steve Rogers and this is Tony Stark. I know its confusing but we got you here because we want to help you."

Tony looked back to me again and continued
"But for exchange you'll also have to help us, not choke us and stuff."
Steve just glared at him.
"It could have gotten worse, you should be happy that I didn't shock
you back there."
I said and saw their faces turning into confusion. Steve lied, he didn't know about my powers.

A few hours later

Tonys POV.:

"She really is fascinating! I mean if Bruce was here he would've freaked out about her! She can send electric impulses trough her body and shock people with it!" I said.
"Yeah," Clint scoffed "Fascinating. But for real why did we save her in the first place? She's just another hydra agent."
"Clint's right, Claire could've killed Cap if she wanted to."
Natasha added while putting a hand on her hip.
"We can't just kill an innocent girl who also is different, like us."
I replied trying to convince them.
"Innocent? Hours ago you didn't even know her full name and now you claim to know that she's innocent?"
Natasha said stepping closer to me. I looked back to the monitors that showed Claire sitting on a bed in the cell.
"Lets find out." I responded.

Claires POV.:

Steve walked into the room with a tray and shoved it under the glass door of the cell.
"You need to eat, I hope you like oatmeal." he said with a faint smile.
I got up and looked at the food.
It could be poisoned..
"It's not poisoned. If we would be trying to kill you, trust me, we could've done it."
He added trying to comfort me but actually making me even more panic.
"I mean, we aren't...god, that came off wrong."
Steve said trying to loosen up the situation by lightly chuckling. I smiled. I think I could trust him.

He was the first person after hydra that was nice to me.

"Thank you"I responded.
"I know this is a bit fast but, can I ask you a few Questions?"
Steve asked and came closer to the glass wall.
"Of course." I responded and started eating a bit of the Food he brought.
"What do you remember from before hydra?"
I stared at the ground for a bit. "Nothing. I didn't even know my name."
I responded looking back to him
"I was just Experiment 14..".
"Did you ever kill anyone?"
he asked after a while. I just nodded and he spoke up again
"How many?"
"Five people. I think."
I answered, not even daring to look at him. He probably thought I'm a monster.
"What was your first mission?"
"I never had one. You guys got me out of there before I could do worse.."
I answered and he scrunched up his brows in confusion
"Wait, then when did you kill those people?"
"I had to take the other experiments out. They wanted the best, the strongest one. Someone who can replace the winter soldier."

As soon as I said the Assasins name I realized that Steve got more tense.

"Did you ever met him? The Winter soldier?"
He asksed and I responded
"Well I've never saw him but they showed me a bit of his file. Just in case he crossed my path when I would go on a mission."
None of us spoke for a while but then I broke the silence.
"Did you ever met him?'
"Yes. More times then you think.'
He answered with a sad smile and walked out of the room.
