Chapter 6 – A Long Way
The airship flew in the sky as I felt the metal beneath my feet tremble and vibrate. It indicated that the engine of the ship was working fine. Looking to the horizon, I noticed that the sun was already setting. It seems that we’ve been flying in the ship for a couple of hours since we left Treyah this afternoon.
The place we’re going was to the north. The Sanctum Dei Gaia cathedral was our first stop as to finding the people who took Yue from us. Lucian’s father and the rest of the administrators gave us this task and there was no clear reason on why they chose us but I don’t really care. Finding her was a priority to me. I’ll save Yue.
Footsteps came across my hearing and I didn’t turn back to see who it was.
“Thu sun’s setting.” The female voice said. It was Terrah.
I didn’t speak to her for I was still captivated in my thoughts on this mission. The thoughts on saving Yue and other things; damn I really need to stop thinking deeply.
“Thoughts are thoughts. Sometimes you just need to unwind.” Terrah said to me.
“Don’t tell me you can read minds too.” I said to her as I ruffled my long brown hair. I still wore a bandage wrap on my left hand. I kind of felt used to it being there.
“I can tell from the look of your face.” The nun replied to me. Hard to believe that she’s already a head nun as she looked about the same age as us. “Why? Who do you know that could read minds here?” she asked me.
“Lucian.” I replied to her. “So the phrase “keep your thoughts to yourself” doesn’t really apply to him.”
She laughed at my response.
“Your wit’s kinda funny.” She replied to me and shortly afterwards I saw Zaix walk towards where we are.
“Sup folks.” Zaix said nonchalantly and I then sighed. “What’s with the sigh emo face?” he asked him.
“So much for having a quiet stay. Who’s on the pilot seat?” I asked.
“Julia.” He replied to him and I walked on away from the two.
“Where you goin?!” Zaix shouted at him.
“Away from here.” I replied as I kept on walking. Seems like I need a new place for my thinking space.

General POV
“Is he always like that?” Terrah then asked Zaix as the latter ruffled his hair.
“Most of the time. He’s not really a people person.” Zaix then replied to her and he moved closer. “Well now that we’re alone, how bout we get to know each other a little better?” he said to the head nun as he smiled at her.
“Uhh no.” Terrah said as she stepped away from the 3rd year student.
“Is this because you’re a nun and can’t have a relationship?” Zaix said. “Rules can be broken you know.” He said.
“No. It’s because you’re kind of a creep.” Terrah said as she walked away from Zaix and went her way.
Zaix just sighed as he took out one cigarette from his box and started smoking it.

Melfice sat beside the pilot seat and Julia was seated on the pilot’s seat as she was driving the airship to their destination. The former had a bored look on his face. He was looking through the windows beside him as he saw the sky was getting darker.
