Chapter 11 – Exasperated
“You called?” Vrede said to the master Sentis as he did his usual thing which was stick his back against a wall and relaxed.
Verrath was not his usual self as he was watching the world through multiple voids. His face had a look of little interest in Vrede’s little mind games. He wanted to get straight to the point.
“Gewalt has fallen.” He said to the red haired Sentis member.
“What?” Vrede said. Verrath’s statement seemed to have given the red haired Sentis quite a little shock.
“He was defeated by the same people that we had encountered in that Academy.” The master Sentis said to him.
“That’s something to worry about.” Vrede replied to him as he began to play with his grey flames.
“Those nuisances need to be dealt with immediately. I thought that Gewalt was enough to deal with them. They seem to have more power than we thought.” Verrath said afterwards.
“Seems like you underestimated them” The red haired Sentis member said. “That’s not like you.” He added with a smirk on his face.
Vrede continued to play with flames while Verrath kept his composure and tried to think of a plan to deal with the students that had ended their comrade.
“What do you propose then?” Verrath asked him.
“Not really my thing, planning that is.” The red haired Sentis member replied to him. “Where do you think that posse’s gonna go next?” he added.
“Their interest is our realm.” Verrath said in response. “Saving their precious friend is high on their agenda list after all.” He added.
“Well then keep them guessing.” Vrede replied to him. “I mean that’s a distraction enough. My suggestion would be to send one of us to deal with them. Tail them if you must.” He added.
“Misdirection.” The master Sentis said. “Lead them away from our realm while I begin to extract her powers.” He added.
“Bingo.” Vrede replied as he stood up.
Verrath then walked towards the door of his room.
“Where are you going?” the red haired Sentis member asked him.
“I have to meet her. After all it is a show of courtesy is it not?” Verrath replied as he exited the door. Vrede stayed in the master room as he played with grey flames.

Fraus POV
I stood guard over Yue while she was encased in the containment pod. It seemed that she was asleep and that was good for me for a lot of reasons.
Talking to her makes me feel queasy and Vrede was actually noticing this. Its not a good sign because our master doesn’t take kindly to traitors. I have no qualms in my mind that I would betray the man who served as my savior and mentor but I am feeling that inside me, I wanted more.
Destruction wasn’t really the solution for everything but it had to be done. These humans had already abused their freedom.
I trust you.
Damn, that thought keeps on bothering me. Why is guilt haunting me? When would it stop?! I’ve done my mission and now I should feel nothing! Everything started to fall apart after the incident.
I need to know what I really need to do.
As I was keeping to myself, I then saw the doors open and to my surprise it was the master of us all that had entered.
