Chapter 20 – Threats in all Places

Darkness energy raged around Seiryu and his eyes shone a bright red. Indeed he looked threatening to his opponents but the three Sentis members tried to keep their composure in place.

“His darkness…it seems different.” Dekstros thought as he shielded himself with grey spirit energy.

“You can summon all the darkness you want but there’s no way you can beat all three of us together.” Sinistros said with a smirk on his face.

Then in an unexpected moment, it was Vollerei who rushed at Seiryu with his huge mallet. He swung in a horizontal manner. Fortunately, the long haired student was able to evade the attack as he shifted backwards. He let out a counter slash that sent a blade beam towards the Vollerei. The Sentis member blocked it but it did not prevent him from moving a bit backwards.

“Perhaps I was wrong.” Vollerei said as he kept a calm stance once more.

Sinistros now with his knife rushed towards Seiryu and let out a series of fast slashes. Seiryu saw all of them coming and he parried them with little effort. He kept his balance as he shifted his right foot forward and again let out a spinning slash. It again let out a dark blade beam that was flying towards the other half of the Limbo twins. Sinistros then tried to evade and he succeeded in doing so but he noticed that there was a tear on the right arm sleeve of his cloak.

“You’ve changed.” Sinistros said in a more serious tone.

Seiryu didn’t mind the comment of the Sentis member, instead he let his darkness rage around him to protect himself from the attackers present.

Vollerei sent a blow to the ground and the earth around Seiryu began to rise. The long haired student then tried to dodge the attack but a part of it ahd connected towards him thus making him off balanced.

The Limbo twins now took advantage of this opportunity and sthey surrounded Seiryu from both sides. Dekstros charged up his dark grey spirit energy while Sinistros prepared his knife filled with grey spirit energy. It would seem that the two of them are preparing for a double strike.

“Not good…” Seiryu thought as he tried to regain his balance. Darkness wrapped his right arm and it began to mold into a flame.

“Limbo: Aces of Duality!” both twins said as their grey spirit energies began to form a huge cage around Seiryu. Grey fire lit inside it as well and the long haired student tried to struggle free.

“Damn it…” he said but what they didn’t know is that he had another trick up his sleeve.

Seiryu then notice that he was about to land on the ground again. With the grey spirit energy cage-like contraption closing in on him, he concentrated on his left arm which had darkness surrounding it.

“I’ve got one chance.” He thought as he closed in on the ground and as he landed he let out a huge punch that hit the floor below him.

Upon impact, there had been a huge dark explosion that had been produced. This led the three Sentis members around him to defend themselves from the dark fires that surrounded them all.

Once the smoke had cleared up, Seiryu stood there in the middle of the three Sentis members. Darkness still was present around him.

“Dark Flare.” He said coldly, reiterating that that was the attack that he had executed.

“Don’t get cocky!” Sinistros said as he rushed towards the long haired student but what came next was a surprise.

As Sinistros was about to make impact, a huge surge of flames had engulfed the area that he was going to attack this had sent him reeling back quite a bit. A familiar face came across him and a smirk then approached his face.
