Episode 15 - Deliverance

Chapter 15 – Deliverance

“Oh shit!” Zaix said as he piloted the ship to safety. Grey crystal fiends that flew around the ship had appeared around it. He tried to maneuver it to safety but the grey fiends were just as flexible in the air.

“Damn when did these fiends appear anyway?!” he shouted as he maneuvered the ship. Terrah held on to anything that she could hold on to so as to keep her balance.  

Shortly afterwards, Fran came running in the cockpit as well; she held on her tonfas as she looked around and saw Zaix piloting the ship.

“The grey fiends are everywhere!” she shouted.

“Did they make it inside the ship?” Zaix asked her.

“So far not yet, but they started to appear out of nowhere since Begierde had infiltrated the ship. It’s only a matter of time before they make it in here too.” She added.

“Where’s Julia then?” Fran asked them all.

“She was out in the balcony a few minutes ago.” Terrah said. “She was the one that was going to look for the Sentis member.” She added.

Melfice came running in the cockpit as well.

“Julia’s nowhere to be found!” he shouted at them.

“What?!” all three had asked Melfice.

“I checked the balcony on my way here and she wasn’t there!” he added. All three of them now felt uneasy due to the disappearance of their friend.

In a familiar gray void stood Begierde and Julia as they were in a stare down once again.

Begierde’s energy began to take form of flower petals once again. She stood calmly in front of the Block A prefect with a more serious look on her face. Julia kept her weapon at the ready in case that she needed to defend herself.

“I am Begierde, holder of the sin, Lust.” She said as her eyes shone a bright grey color. “With humanity comes desire and with desire comes the will to lust for everything. Desires of power, love and even lust itself for lust’s sake.” She added.

Julia had a serious look on her face as her blue energy flared up around her.

“If you bring forth my end, then you will be actually helping our cause.” Begierde said to her. “Desires bring about what makes a human frail.” She said as she began to step forward.

The Treyah student in return shifted into her fighting stance. She let her water spirit energy rage around her.

“Are you ready to face your death?” Begierde then said with a serious look on her face.

Without any hesitation, Julia rushed towards the Sentis member and let out a series of strikes. Begierde then floated around to evade the strikes from her sword with ease. Julia jumped up high and then she thrusted her sword to on to the transparent ground around her and this gave rise to ice spikes that headed towards the Sentis member.

“Glacial Uproar!” Julia said as the ice continued to rise and made its way towards the Sentis member.

Begierde stood her ground and in return she let out a huge wind burst from her right hand and in effect it shattered the ice that was about to hit her. A smirk had approached her face afterwards.

“That all you got?” she asked Julia, but before she could even continue to say something, the Treyah student was already rushing towards her with great speed.
