Chapter 1 – Caged
Where am I? My body it feels heavy and yet at the same time I feel like I’m floating. It feels like it’s been years since I moved but I don’t know. Understanding the situation that I am in right now seems like a waste of time because really in the first place I do not know where I am.
I felt my eyes open as I saw that indeed I was floating. I felt the surroundings around me as I moved forward, but then I hit something it felt like glass. I looked around me once more and saw everything. The background was grey, lifeless and it seemed to sap the hope out of me.
I saw a door open in front of me. Not like it was going to be of any use since I am contained and caged inside this tank like contraption. What do they want from me? A familiar face had approached this tank that I am in. It was a former friend of mine.
“You’re awake.” She said. It was Elle but she was known as Fraus now to these people. It seems that she was alone.
“Where am I?” I suddenly had asked her. My body felt weak from my last skirmish. Come to think of it, I had forgotten what had happened.
“You’re in a containment pod.” Fraus replied to me coldly. Was she always this cold when she was Elle?
“That’s the obvious answer.” I retorted at her. “Now where am I?” I asked once more.
She ruffled her grey hood as she straightened out her hair. The once blue eyes that she had had become tainted with the grey color that they are now. Her hair as well was once blonde but now that I looked at it closely, it had become polluted with the beautiful shade of platinum.
“We are at the Novemque Sentis headquarters, but it is better known as The Null Rift.” I had heard her reply and to be honest I had never heard of such a place known as that in my entire life.
“Null Rift?” I asked. “Where is this place?” I continued to ask her.
“At the ends of this Earth. Only us nothings can have access to this place willingly.” Fraus replied to me.
“That means I can’t get back…” I said out loud. Damn I need to get out of here but how? Only they have access to this place, they who claim to be nothings.
“You don’t need to get back, you have a better purpose.” Fraus told me and I felt something was wrong with that statement.
“What do you mean?!” I now shouted at her.
“Now’s not the time for you to know yet.” She then replied to me in a very cold manner. I really wanted to know about her.

General POV
Yue was still floating in the encasement pod that she was put in by the other girl that was present who was known as Fraus. The latter stayed and watched the pod at all costs because it seems that it was her duty to keep guard of the azure-haired girl that had been captured by the Sentis.
“Elle, I know that the real you is still in there.” Yue tried to reason with her as she leaned on the glass.
“More like a shadow husk of my former self.” Fraus replied to her coldly as she crossed her arms. “Stop talking to me. I hate it that I have to guard you even though I already captured you for the master.” She added.
“Please talk to me…” she pleaded with her former friend.
Fraus then felt something inside her even if she was still being cold to her. She knew that the two of them were really close friends once.
