"Tae, you have to relax," Jimin said, running a hand through Taehyung's hair comfortingly. "Stressing yourself out like this isn't going to help at all."

"How can I relax, Jimin?! I'm meeting Hobi's parents in less than an hour! What if they don't like me?! Hobi might break up with me!" Taehyung worried.

"Hoseok likes you way too much to break up with you. Besides, I've known his parents ever since I was young. They're not as scary as you think," Jimin spoke softly. "They'll like you, okay?"

"And if they don't?" Taehyung asked.

"They will, Taehyung. They love their son. All they want is for Hoseok to be happy, and he's happy when he's with you. It'll be okay," Jimin told Taehyung.

"You really think so?" Taehyung said, sitting up and staring at Jimin with hopeful eyes.

"Of course. But you know, we were supposed to be hanging out and having fun," Jimin whined as he and Taehyung got off of the bench they were sitting on. "I never got to take that bike ride around the boardwalk."

"I'm sorry," Taehyung pouted. "I'll make it up to you soon! We can even get the ones with the wheels that light up in the dark!"

"But today was the perfect day for it," Jimin complained.

"I'm sorry, Jiminie," Taehyung apologized cutely. Jimin sighed.

"It's no problem, Tae. I'll walk to the bus stop with you," Jimin replied.

"Thanks for everything," Taehyung mumbled.

"It's fine. Don't worry too much when you get to their house, okay? They'll love you," Jimin told him firmly.

"I hope so," Taehyung responded quietly before suddenly perking up. "Hey, isn't that the new lifeguard?"

"Huh?! Where?" Jimin asked, looking around frantically.

"Yoongi! Over here!" Taehyung called out, waving the older boy over energetically. Jimin blushed when he saw Yoongi, and he hid his face bashfully.

"Taehyung, right? And Jimin? Hey. How are you guys?" Yoongi said politely, smiling at the pair as he walked over with another man. Jimin noticed that the other boy's hair looked like a brighter shade of Yoongi's hair.

"We're good, how about you? Who's this?" Taehyung responded.

"Hi, I'm Gook Min Pyo," the man introduced himself brightly. "And you are?"

"I'm Kim Taehyung, and this is Park Jimin. We work with Yoongi at the beach," Taehyung smiled.

"Oh, I've heard a bit about you guys! Nice to meet you!" Min Pyo said.

"Woah, are those the bikes that have the wheels that light up?!" Jimin spoke, pointing at the bikes that Min Pyo and Yoongi were holding onto. Yoongi nodded, and Jimin stared at them excitedly.

"Hey, do you think that Jimin could join you guys? He wanted to ride one of those bikes, but I have to go now," Taehyung explained.

"I don't see why not," Min Pyo replied.

"Great! Thanks, guys! Bye!" Taehyung said, waving at the group for a few seconds before running towards the bus stop. Jimin blinked confusedly.

"What just happened?"
