"Hey guys, this is Jimin."
Yoongi smiled politely as he gestured toward his friends, the four of them sprawled across a bench and tightening their skates. Jimin recognised one of them instantly as Min Pyo, however the others he had not seen before.
The youngest-looking of the three had a very focused look on his face as he heaved on his skates. He had chestnut hair, (which was slightly wavy and just short enough to miss his eyes), and in contrast to his stern expression, an innocent, babyish face.
While he sat a fair distance apart from the others, two out of the group sat rather closely together, their shoulders brushing up against each other as they stood up to greet their friend. One of the pair had long, sleek hair which was gracefully tucked behind one ear and drawn back into a ponytail, and a surprisingly calm, gentle air about him. The other seemed to be far more serious, with dark hair that swept across his face in a similar way to the first boy's. However, as he glanced over at the smiling boy next to him, this facade melted away into a flush of red cheeks. These two must have been a couple, Jimin thought.
"You've met Min-Pyo, of course." Yoongi beamed.
The mint-haired boy shot up, striding toward Jimin and pulling into an enthusiastic hug. Jimin had met Min Pyo numerous times, and as he was the first to catch on about him liking Yoongi, he appreciated him a lot.
"Jimin-ah! Nice to see you again." He announced, flashing a grin.
"Hey, Min-Pyo," Jimin began, pulling away, "And you guys are?"
The group had now properly fastened themselves in and were awkwardly balancing upon each other to stand up. This was apart from the youngest, who had his arms crossed confidently as he held up perfectly well on the bumpy floor.
"Jimin, this is Jungkook, Seungcheol and Jeonghan." Yoongi replied, pointing to each of his friends as he named them.
"Good to meet you." Jimin bowed, the others doing the same in return. He felt a sudden sense of pride that he was being introduced to Yoongi's friends; wasn't that what couples did?
"Jungkook here used to train with me on the beach, but was a few classes below me." Yoongi explained, quickly interrupting his train of thought.
"Ah right, that's interesting." He nodded.
"Nice to meet you, hyung." The boy said matter-of-factly. Jimin could tell that he was trying to look cool, but didn't say anything seeing as he was probably half as intimidating as he thought himself.
"Seungcheol and Jeonghan live down my grandparents' street, so we all used to play together in the summer." Yoongi stated. The pair seemed to exchange looks of admiration as he said this, and Jimin couldn't help but smile.
"Awh, that's sweet!" He cried. The thought of a young Yoongi made his heart warm.
"Shall we get our skates on, then?" Yoongi suggested, tapping him on the shoulder to get his attention.
"Okay!" He responded.
As they approached the front desk, Jimin glanced around to fully take in the size of the floor. He was astounded; not only did it seem to stretch on for miles either side, but the absence of any other people only made it look more vast. Every small sound seemed to have increased in volume since entering, too. The delicate tapping of his feet had become clear and crisp as, echoing from wall to wall as if it were escaping from loud speakers. Before Jimin could even begin to consider the number of prestigious competitions or events that must have been held there, Yoongi began to speak.
"Have you ever skated before Jimin-ah?" He asked.
Jimin pondered for a moment. He had been skating before, (it was a given since such an exciting place existed in his otherwise dull hometown), but he was absolutely dreadful. Looking back at it now, he recalled spending most of his time on the floor instead of on his skates. Although it was embarrassing, perhaps, he thought, he could his blatant lack of skill to his advantage.
"No. Not really," He said, "You might have to help me a bit!"
"That's okay, there's a first time for everything, right?" Yoongi chuckled.

"Yoongi-hyung! Save me!" Jimin carelessly cried. Trying his hardest not to laugh, he dramatically lapped his arms around the gate to get into the rink.
"Alright there Jimin-ah?" Min Pyo giggled, elegantly sliding up toward him. He must have been here before, too.
Hoping that he wouldn't step in to try and help, Jimin vigorously shook his head at the boy and subtly signalled over to Yoongi, who was just taking to his feet. In response to this, a sudden clarity glazed Min Pyo's eyes, and he sighed in realisation.
"Oh, gotcha." He nodded, giving Jimin a suggestive wink as he slid through the gate to join the others.
"Your knight in shining armour is here!" Yoongi laughed, wobbling over to him cautiously. Jimin would have swooned over how adorable he looked, but was far too focused on maintaining his acting.
"Shut up, stupid! I'm stuck here!" He yelled. Yoongi swept around the gate to face him from the other side.
"Well then, you should probably start by letting go of the side there." Yoongi chuckled, watching as Jimin hauled himself around the corner. The younger boy held himself in the same position for a second or so to signify that he was stuck.
"Don't worry, I've got you." He nervously slipped his arms around Jimin's sides, attempting to pull him upwards. Jimin tried his hardest to mask the smirk that was intensifying across his face; his plan was working. When he had finally lifted Jimin away from the gate, Yoongi quickly let go of him to grasp both of his hands.
"Okay, now try to move forward slightly." He whispered, tightening his grip on Jimin's hands and slowly pulling him forward.
"I've got it!"Jimin cried, faking a sigh of relief.
"Well done!" Yoongi smiled, and as a blushing Jimin had discovered, his smile was infectious.

Hello! Hopefully this made up for my relatively bad chapter the last time I published one! Even though half of it was written at like one o'clock last night, (ha oops), I'd like to think it's pretty decent. It feels much better than before, at least! There shouldn't be any mistakes but I'll probably come back and edit through again just to be sure! Thank you so much for reading, it really means a lot to Nikita and I! Especially when it's starting to get exciting... no spoilers, promise!
The song above is Monsta X's 'Stuck'! (Since Jimin was stuck?? lol bad, bad pun) They're very talented and I'm really starting to like them, which I guess is convenient since their comeback is soon. Anyways, give them some love!
See you next time,
-Sophie (@nagisigh)
(EDIT 1/10/16 - sorry if you got a notif again! for some reason it unpublished!)
