"Teacher! Mr. Park!" Jimin heard a voice shout after him breathlessly. He turned around to find the source of the voice.
"Oh, Hyun-ji! What's up?" Jimin asked, smiling brightly at his student. "Are you okay? Do you need some water?"
"No, I'm fine, thank you, Mr. Park! I just wanted to give you this," Hyun-ji answered. She handed Jimin a pink flower. "It was growing in our backyard. My mom said I could pick it and give it to you as a thank you gift!"
"Woah, it's really pretty. Thank you, Hyun-ji! That was really sweet of you," Jimin grinned at her, ruffling her hair softly.
"It was nothing," Hyun-ji mumbled as she fixed her hair. "You like it, right?"
"Of course. It's beautiful," Jimin answered honestly.
"That's a relief. Well, I should get going now, sir. My mom gave Bong Pal and I money to buy ice cream today, so if I don't hurry, Bong Pal will eat my ice cream!" Hyun-ji exclaimed worriedly.
"How much ice cream can a nine-year-old boy eat?" Jimin chuckled to himself quietly. "Hey, let's go together, Hyun-ji. I need to talk to the owner about something anyways."
"Okay!" Hyun-ji agreed, and the pair walked to the ice cream stall together.
"Welcome!" Jin's warm voice called out as Jimin and Hyun-ji entered the shop. Hyun-ji immediately ran over to where Bong Pal was sitting, and Jimin strolled over the counter.
"Bong Pal, that was my ice cream!" Jimin heard Hyun-ji whine sadly.
"I'm sorry. I took a bite because I thought it was mine," Bong Pal apologized, but his words sounded mischievous. "Wait, Hyun-ji, no! That's my ice cream! Hyun-ji!"
"Kids," Jin sighed wistfully. "I wish I could be as innocent and pure as them."
"I don't know if I'd call them pure," Jimin laughed. "One time, Hyun-ji was so mad at Bong Pal for laughing at her that she pulled down his swimming shorts."
"Seriously?!" Jin gasped, his face shocked.
"Yeah," Jimin nodded. "She didn't pull them too far down, thankfully, but still. Honestly, it's a good thing that the surfing lessons are far away from the regular beach area."
"What's his name, Bong Pal? He must've been so mad at her. Did he ignore her?" Jin asked.
"You'd think so, right? Well, they were both upset, so they tried to ignore each other. Needless to say, that failed quickly," Jimin smiled fondly. "Apparently, that day was the anniversary of the day they had met. After class, Bong Pal gave her a shell bracelet he had made, and Hyun-ji kissed him on the cheek."
"Ah, how cute!" Jin squealed before clearing his throat awkwardly.
"I know. I have no doubt that they're going to end up married," Jimin told Jin. "I'm going to be upset if I don't get invited to the wedding."
"Hey, but what's up with that flower in your hand?" Jin questioned.
"Hyun-ji gave it to me. Isn't it pretty?" Jimin replied.
"So she has a good taste in flowers, but not people. Got it," Jin nodded to himself.
"Hey!" Jimin pouted.
"I'm just kidding," Jin grinned. "Oh, wait, Jimin! I have a favor to ask you."
"Sure, what is it?" Jimin responded.
"Can you get some soda for tonight's bonfire party?" Jin requested. "Everyone else is already bringing something, so I had to ask you. You don't mind, right?"
"Oh, of course not! It's no problem at all," Jimin said.
"Thanks, Jimin-ah," Jin replied with a smile.

"There's so many types...which ones should I get?" Jimin muttered to himself quietly, glaring at the never-ending array of sodas displayed in front of him.
"Park Jimin?" a familiar voice asked. A brown-haired man approached him. "I thought I saw you! Hey!"
"Sorry for asking, but you are...?" Jimin wondered before his eyes widened. "Wait a minute. Gook Min Pyo?!"
"That's right! I'm Yoongi's friend," Min Pyo grinned. "How have you been?"
"I'm alright, and you? What are you doing here." Jimin responded.
"I'm good, and I just came to get myself a snack. I already bought it, but then I saw you. Oh, are you buying drinks for tonight's party?" Min Pyo questioned.
"Well, I'm trying to," Jimin chuckled weakly. "There's so many different types. I have no idea what anyone wants."
"Hmm, Yoongi likes this one," Min Pyo told Jimin, lifting a bottle off of the rack and handing it to the other boy. "It's just plain, old, simple cola. Yoongi's favorite."
"Thanks!" Jimin beamed. He grabbed a few more bottles of the same brand and placed them in his basket.
"I don't know if you'll care as much, but I like this one, and I know that many others do too, so..." Min Pyo trailed off, taking a different brand of soda off of the stand and dropping it in Jimin's basket.
"W-What do you mean by that?" Jimin asked nervously.
"By what? Not caring as much? Aw, c'mon. Yoongi is one of my best friends. You think I wouldn't know when someone likes my best friend?" Min Pyo replied with a smile.
"Does...does Yoongi know?" Jimin worried.
"Yoongi? That kid wouldn't know if someone liked him even if they sang to him outside his bedroom window," Min Pyo snorted.
"And you're okay with it?" Jimin continued.
"With you liking him? Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" Min Pyo asked.
"Well, I barely know him," Jimin mumbled.
"So? Just get to know him better. Besides, it's not like you're in love with him or anything," Min Pyo pointed out.
"You're right," Jimin smiled.
"Of course I am, I'm Gook Min Pyo. Anyways, I should get going now. I'll see you later, Jimin," Min Pyo said before leaving the store.
"Ah, okay! Bye!" Jimin waved at Min Pyo as the other boy left then walked to the cashier to pay for the drinks.

"Hey, look who it is! Park Jimin! And he brought the drinks! Alright, everyone, it's party time!" Taehyung yelled as Jimin approached the bonfire, causing most of the people there to cheer loudly in excitement.
