"You guys did well today! Have a great rest of your day!" Jimin smiled.
Jimin waved at his students energetically as they left, his smile growing even wider as they waved back at the top of the sand dune. When they were out of his sight, Jimin bent down, picked up some water, and splashed it onto his face. He stood up too abruptly and stumbled as he was pushed back by the strong waves of the water. He closed his eyes and winced. He knew that he wouldn't be able to stop himself from falling, so he decided to just accept his fate.
"Woah, hey! Careful!" Jimin heard someone say. Jimin felt a pair of familiar, powerful hands catch him and help him stand upright. His eyes flew open. That voice...wasn't that...
"Yo, Park Jimin," Yoongi said, half-smirking at the younger boy. "Doesn't this situation seem familiar? You just keep falling for me, huh?"
"Sh-shut up," Jimin stuttered as his face began to redden.
"Don't worry, I'm just joking," Yoongi replied with a grin. "Did you just finish a class?"
"Yeah. I have about fifteen minutes until my next class starts," Jimin told him. "What about you?"
"I just finished a class too. I was going to go to Jin's grandfather's ice cream shop, but then I saw you, so I decided to say hello. Do you wanna join me?" Yoongi offered.
"Huh? No, it's fine! I wouldn't want to impose," Jimin responded awkwardly.
"It's no big deal. Besides, you're friends with Jin too, right? C'mon. We can share an ice cream," Yoongi said.
"Share an ice cream?" Jimin blushed. Isn't that what couples did?
"There's no way that I'll be able to finish my ice cream on my own before my next class starts. Help me out, hm?" Yoongi requested.
"I–okay, sure," Jimin replied.
"Great! Let's go!" Yoongi cheered, grabbing Jimin's hand and pulling him out of the water and onto the sand. Yoongi dragged Jimin with him as he ran up the sand dune towards the ice cream shop.
"Hey, Jin," Yoongi greeted, letting go of Jimin's hand to clasp Jin's in a friendly handshake. "How's it going?"
"Not bad, and you? I see that you came here with our Jiminie," Jin teased. "Are you two here on a date?"
"Jin-hyung!" Jimin blushed. "We aren't like that!"
"Sure, sure, whatever you say, kid. Anyways, I'm sure that you guys didn't just come here to talk to me. What can I get you guys?" Jin said.
"Um, is chocolate okay, Yoongi-hyung?" Jimin asked quietly.
"Hm? Yeah, that's fine. One medium-sized cup of chocolate ice cream, please," Yoongi requested, pulling out his wallet as Jin got the ice cream.
"5,500 Won, please," Jin said, and Yoongi handed over the money. Jin gave him the ice cream.
"Enjoy!" Jin smirked, winking at the pair.
"Wait, but there's only one spoon," Jimin protested.
"Oh. really? My bad. Here you go," Jin apologized as he gave Jimin another spoon. Jimin frowned in confusion. Jin didn't look that sorry...
"Alright, see you later! C'mon, Jimin," Yoongi laughed awkwardly.
Jimin glanced between the pair in perplexity before Yoongi grabbed Jimin by the hand once again and pulled him out of the ice cream store. Jimin's eyes widened in shock, and he blushed as he stared at their interlocked hands. Jimin waved dazedly at a chuckling Jin as Yoongi dragged him away from the shop, still feeling quite bewildered. What was he not understanding?
