"Jimin-ah, your friends are here!" Jimin's mother shouted.

"Coming!" Jimin called as he put on his coat. He looked at his reflection in the mirror one last time before grabbing his phone and his wallet and leaving his bedroom. He rushed down the stairs and smiled at his friends, who were waiting by the door.

"Hey," Jin greeted Jimin, smiling warmly at him. "Ready to go?" Jimin nodded.

"Have fun with your friends, alright?" Jimin's mother said. "Ah, right! Your father and I may not be here when you come back. You have the house keys, don't you?"

"Yes, Mom. How could I forget when you kept reminding me this morning?" Jimin teased. His mother rolled his eyes.

"Alright, I get it. Hurry up and leave already," Jimin's mother urged as she made shooing motions. Jimin grinned and hugged his mom.

"Bye, Mom. I love you," Jimin told her.

"Me too, Jimin-ah. Have fun, boys!" Jimin's mother smiled at the boys and waved.

"Dad, I'm leaving!" Jimin yelled as he pulled on his shoes.

"Alright, bye! Love you!" his father shouted back.

"Love you too!" Jimin called. He stood up and smiled at his friends. "Let's go."

"Bye, Mrs. Park!" Jin, Namjoon, and Jungkook chorused, bowing respectfully before following Jimin out the door.

"Dude, I love your family so much," Namjoon sighed happily. "Your family's love is literally the sweetest thing ever. Even your brother always tells you that he loves you."

"You have a little brother?" Jungkook asked, glancing at Jimin curiously.

"I do. You know, you actually remind me of him," Jimin told Jungkook. He smirked teasingly. "Both of you are little brats."

"Hey!"

"Speaking of which, where is the younger Park brother?" Jin questioned.

"Ah, he went out with some of his friends," Jimin explained. "That kid's more popular than I am."

"Looks like your brother and I do have something in common," Jungkook hummed.

"Yeah, your bad looks," Jimin retorted.

"Rude!" Jungkook pouted. "Isn't anyone going to defend me from Jimin-hyung's bullying?"

"Nah, you set yourself up for that one," Jin told him, and Namjoon nodded in agreement. "Sorry, Jungkookie."

"Whatever," Jungkook huffed. "Let's just go to Hoseok-hyung's house."

"Where do you think we're going right now?" Jin retorted, rolling his eyes.

"You guys are walking so slowly though!" Jungkook complained. "It's cold!"

"You should've worn a warmer jacket," Namjoon scolded in a fatherly voice. "Why did you wear such a thin jacket in the middle of winter?"

"I told you I came here straight from meeting someone–"

"Alright, how about this? Since Hoseok's house is only a couple hundred meters away now, how about we have a race?" Jimin suggested. "It'll warm you up, and we'll get there sooner."

"You two can race. That sounds like too much exercise for me," Namjoon said as he patted his stomach loudly. "Besides, I'd rather stay back and take a romantic stroll with my boyfriend."

"Who said I'm not racing?" Jin questioned. "I'll join the race. You're going down, Jungkook."

"I won't lose, Jin-hyung!" Jungkook promised.

"Alright, so the three of us are racing then, right?" Jimin asked. Jin and Jungkook nodded.

"Wait, what about me? You can't just leave me alone–"

"Ready...set...go!" Jimin shouted, and he, Jin, and Jungkook took off sprinting.

"Wait for me!" Namjoon yelped, running after them.

"Should I even bother asking why all of you are out of breath?" Hoseok said after opening the door to find the four boys panting heavily. Taehyung watched them curiously from over Hoseok's shoulder. He and Hoseok stepped back to let the other boys in.

"We had a race," Jimin breathed out, gripping the side of the door tightly as he took off his shoes.

"Ooh, who won?" Taehyung asked excitedly.

"I did," Jungkook declared triumphantly, and Taehyung grinned.

"Take that, Jimin!" Taehyung stuck his tongue out at Jimin, who rolled his eyes. Taehyung turned to Jungkook "Nice going, Jungkookie!"

"Thanks, Taehyung-hyung," Jungkook replied. He pouted. "But, you know what? Jimin-hyung was bullying me earlier—"

"Hey, whose shoes are those?" Jimin interrupted, noticing another pair of shoes on the shoe rack. He furrowed his eyebrows. They looked familiar. "Is someone else here?"

"He just interrupted me!" Jungkook exclaimed in an offended voice. Jimin frowned and took the shoes off of the rack, eyes widening in realization as he recognized them. He dropped the shoes and looked around frantically.

"He's here, isn't he? Where is he?" Jimin asked.

"Who? Where is who? Who's here?" Namjoon questioned as Jimin stumbled into the house, house slippers on the wrong feet.

"Um, surprise?" Jimin whipped his head around and locked his eyes onto the person who had spoken. He ran towards the man and lunged at him, hugging him tightly as the two of them fell to the floor.

"You asshole, Yoongi-hyung, you said you were coming a few days later!" Jimin whined as tears streamed down his cheeks.

"Yeah, because I wanted to surprise you–hey, why are you crying?! Don't cry!" Yoongi replied in a panicked tone.

"I'm just so happy to see you!" Jimin wailed loudly. "I missed you, Yoongi-hyung!" Yoongi smiled softly and pulled away from Jimin.

"I missed you too, Jimin-ah," Yoongi said, wiping the tears away from Jimin's eyes. Jimin sniffled and blew his nose into the sleeve of Yoongi's shirt before wrapping his arms around the older boy again. He buried his face in the back of Yoongi's neck.

"I love you, Yoongi-hyung," Jimin murmured quietly.

"I love you too. Happy Christmas, Jimin."
