"See you later, guys!" Jimin called over to Seokjin and Namjoon, who were now wandering off toward a bus stop - presumably in order to get to Seokjin's house.

An hour or two had passed, and needless to say, it was time to leave the mall; Seokjin had practically visited every store beneath its roof, Namjoon seemed to be spending far more than his wage could afford, and despite being able to witness a freshly-confident Jimin looking handsome as ever in his new jacket, Yoongi was becoming increasingly tired by the minute. There were numerous moments in which he thought that if he closed his eyes for too long, he could have fallen asleep right then and there, (which wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't standing and walking), and he knew that if he didn't say something soon to wake himself up, he probably would.

"Ah, it's nice to go out once in a while huh?" Yoongi sighed, hiding his exhaustion as best he could.

Jimin chuckled heartily, brushing his hand against Yoongi's for permission and quickly interlocking their fingers. Despite the weather being somewhat cold for the time of year, his hand radiated heat.

"Yeah, especially with those two, they never fail to make me laugh." The younger boy added playfully, causing Yoongi to giggle too.

"So, am I walking you home, then?" Yoongi asked. He desperately hoped for a 'yes' in response, but knew how unpredictable Jimin was.

"Hm...not yet. It's only eight - we could do something else, if you want?" Jimin said excitedly - as far as Yoongi was concerned, too excitedly for the number of the pair had been out for.

"Aish Jimin-ah, I'm tired..." Yoongi pined, "Seokjin-hyung made us walk to ten different beauty stores in search of one face cream..."

"How about we just go sit on the beach, then?" Jimin suggested calmly.

"Okay...I'm down for that." Yoongi nodded, slightly relieved. At least, he thought, if he fell asleep Jimin could carry him home or just cuddle him in for warmth until he woke. Secretly, he hoped for the latter.

The pair strolled peacefully along the seafront - arm in arm as they maintained a comfortable silence. The cold, salty air and the blue-grey sky threatened to lull Yoongi into a sleep, but as he forced himself to blink over and over, he somehow managed to stay awake. After all, it was a beautiful scene - the absence of people gave the beach a completely different, almost tranquil atmosphere, and he didn't want to miss it, especially with Jimin at his side.

"Wow, the waves are so calm this time of night. It's pretty." Yoongi said calmly, following Jimin down a set of steps onto the sand.

"Yeah, it is. Busan is beautiful." Jimin blissfully sighed, suddenly turning to the boy beside him and flashing him a suggestive smirk.

"Come on, you know you want to." He nudged Yoongi as he heaved himself down to sit.

"What?" Yoongi cluelessly yawned, playfully pushing Jimin's arm away as he followed him down to the floor.

"Say it - 'not as beautiful as you', Jimin-ah'!" He replied melodramatically, stretching his legs out and grasping Yoongi's hand again.

"You're crazy. You've definitely been watching too many dramas." He stared back at him in disbelief, soon settling into a chuckle.

"Guilty." Jimin admitted, lovingly lifting Yoongi's hand and squeezing it tightly.

Yoongi couldn't resist the urge to roll his eyes in response, but soon added seriously, "I do like you. A lot."

"I know. Who doesn't?" Jimin smiled.

"I was trying to be sincere for a moment, idiot!" Yoongi gawked, again being unable to resist a laugh after a few moments.

"I was kidding," Jimin shrugged, "for what it's worth, I like you too. A lot."

"Now that was the correct answer." Yoongi nodded triumphantly, resting his head on Jimin's shoulder and admiring the landscape before him as if it were a painting; too perfect to be real.

In some ways, it was. Ever since Yoongi had discovered the insignificant fact, it had been bouncing around his head like an itch he couldn't scratch or a puzzle he couldn't solve. He hated to pry, but he wanted Jimin to trust him enough to tell him more, and the situation would never cease to play at his thoughts until he did.

"Jimin?" He asked.

"Yes?" Jimin replied.

"Will you ever tell me why you're scared of the water?"

Yoongi curiously looked up, only to be met with an almost blank expression plastered across Jimin's face. He was neither sad nor smiling, but something about his glance seemed thoughtful and accepting.

"Someday, yes."
