"Is it too late to switch to a dare?" Jimin laughed nervously.
"Yes," Yoongi replied seriously. "You already chose truth, so you might as well answer it."
"Can I get another truth then? I really don't want to answer," Jimin admitted.
"I agree, Yoongi. It's kind of a sore topic for him," Hoseok added. Taehyung nodded.
"Are you saying that you two already know why?" Yoongi asked. Taehyung and Hoseok nodded. "Why can't I know then? I don't have any ill intentions, I just want to help Jimin overcome his fear. Can't you tell me?"
"Please, Yoongi-hyung," Jimin pleaded. "I'd rather not talk about it."
"Alright," Yoongi said reluctantly.
"So, dare then?" Taehyung grinned. "I dare you to let me choose three random ingredients from Hobi's kitchen and make them into a smoothie that you have to drink." Jimin shivered.
"You're the worst friend ever. Can't Yoongi-hyung make it for me? At least I can trust him to not poison me." Jimin pouted.
"Nope!" Taehyung responded cheerfully. He grabbed Jimin's arm and dragged him to the kitchen. "Let's go!"
"Thanks, Yoongi." Hoseok smiled and patted him on the shoulder before following Taehyung and Jimin into the kitchen. Yoongi sighed. He still didn't understand why the other three were being so secretive. He felt excluded, but he chose to ignore the feeling as he joined the others in the kitchen.

"Bye, guys!" Taehyung shouted out loudly, standing in the front door. He waved energetically at Yoongi and Jimin as the two boys left Hoseok's house. Hoseok waved at the pair more calmly, a friendly smile gracing his face.
"Bye!" Jimin yelled back. Yoongi simply gave the other couple a short wave.
"Get home safely," Hoseok called out.
Yoongi nodded and waved once more before turning away from the other two boys. He stuffed his hands in the pockets of his jacket and walked away from Hoseok's house at a quick pace. Jimin, who had lingered in front of Hoseok's house for a little bit longer than Yoongi, sprinted to catch up with Yoongi. He wrapped an arm around Yoongi's shoulder happily, but Yoongi shrugged the arm off.
"Are you upset?" Jimin asked. "You've been kinda cold to me all night."
"I still don't understand why you didn't just answer my question," Yoongi said. Jimin frowned and stopped walking.
"Are you serious?" Jimin responded. "You're bringing this up again?"
"You can't just expect me to be chill and forget about it. You know I'm a curious person," Yoongi replied.
"Did you ever think that maybe I don't want to tell you because it's a painful memory?" Jimin retorted, eyes tearing up. Yoongi's expression softened.
"I didn't realize...I'm sorry, Jimin. I thought—it doesn't matter what I thought. You don't need to tell me anything right now, okay?" Yoongi apologized, pulling Jimin into a hug. Jimin buried his face in Yoongi's shoulder and nodded. Yoongi sighed and rubbed circles on Jimin's back as Jimin squeezed his eyes shut. "I'm sorry," Yoongi repeated in a soft murmur, kissing the top of Jimin's head comfortingly.
