Third person POV
"How bad is it?"
"Will she make a full recovery?"
"Has she got anyone we can contact?"
"It's hard to tell at this point. No, no form of contact on her person."
"What about her injuries, how bad are they?"
"Well, have a look for yourself, but be warned." Banner sighed, pulling back the sheet.
"Damn!" Clint winced.
"Ohh god."
"Poor girl" Nat tutted.
"However, thanks to the inner mechanic in me, and my advance technology, I have made these temporary replacements."
"And what happens about the rest of the injuries?"
"We pray to god they fix themselves."
Y/N POV
As I pried open my heavy eyelids, I was blinded by blazing, burning sunlight. I craned my neck to see the time. Hang on, this isn't my room. Come to think of it, I don't recognise this place at all. Where am I? Why am I here? How did I get here? Have I been kidnapped? Why is it s-suddenly so hard t-to breathe? I sat there helpless, panicking, freaking out and unable to get the oxygen I so desperately needed into my lungs.
Someone must of heard the frantic gasps for air I was making when the door at the foot of the bed flew open. This was followed by blurred figures, mumbling mainly medical terms such as "stabilise the oxygen levels" and "haemoglobin in her blood". A hand was waved in front of my eyes. "Miss, I need you to calm down. This may hurt a little but it's to get your lungs working." who I assume was a nurse said before plunging a small needle into my chest. I held back a scream as a wave nausea came over me as the oxygen returned to my lungs, shortly before I passed out.
The black out was only momentary as I felt the huge pressure on my chest reduce until oxygen was flowing freely to my lungs with no interferences. I turned my head to thank the nurse but when I began to move I felt the most horrible, burning sensation growing from the pit of my stomach, raising straight to my mouth. Luckily, the nurse was one step ahead and was holding a small sick bowl in front of me as I emptied the contents of my stomach. "Ooohh, not the best of feelings but hey, at least you have awoken for your one month slumber." ONE MONTH?!?!
(Second person POV)
You lifted your head to see a small group of people, about 5 or 6, who all looked strangely familiar standing at the foot of the bed. "A month?" You croaked, your voice a little hoarse from the lack of talking you had done. Well, that and the fact you just spewed your guts out seconds before, so to speak. "Ahh, and she speaks too!" smirked- Wait, you recognised this man as "Tony Stark?" You asked unsure, looking towards the average height man with a suit jacket, chinos and sneakers on. Ohh and not to forgot the dead giveaway, signature Tony Stark goatee.
"At least she can identify me, she is definitely on the road to recovery." He chuckled, walking to the side of your bed. "I'm super confused, why am I here? Why are you here, not in a rude way but did I do something wrong?" You asked looking up and soon realising you were in the company of the Avengers. "All will be answered in good time, but first we need to distinguish what you can remember so we can help you piece it all together." He assured, perching on the cabinet next to you bed "but I can assure you that you have done no wrong. So, tell us a little bit about you and what the last thing you remember is."
You took a deep breath before finding the confidence to speak. "Ok, well... My name is Y/N Y/L/N and I'm due to celebrate my 21st on the, wait what month are we in?"
"Well, it's currently June. June 14th to be exact."
"Thanks. That means it's just under a month until my 21st birthday on July 10th. I do remember something. I believe I was with a friend, yeah and we went back to hers to watch a movie, next thing I remember I was helping children, from a collapsing building-" You stopped mid-sentence as the horrific images of people screaming and fire tearing through your friends apartment plagued your mind before you snapped out of it.
