Four months. That's how long Dominic and I have been together. He's a great guy and hasn't rushed things with me. In fact, we've barely made out, let alone have sex. I have plans for new years though. It'll be almost six months which I find acceptable.

I once asked him why he didn't have a girlfriend. He told me all of his girlfriends have cheated on him because he was away at work a lot. He's a mobile mechanic. He has to be to work by seven in the morning and doesn't get home until after eight. By then I'm exhausted from taking care of Alex and Addison.

Today is Thanksgiving and I am hosting a dinner for my family. My parents, aunts, uncles and cousins are all coming along with Tyler and Steven's family. Because there are so many people, I am having it downstairs in the diner. It's big enough and has enough kitchen area to cook without being claustrophobic.

As people begin arriving, they place their passing dishes on the counter with the other food. I organize it, putting all of the desserts down at the end. Everything is perfect but I can't help but feel like something is missing.

Music!

I walk over to the jukebox and put in a quarter then pick a song. Music plays softly behind people's voices. After everyone greets one another, they fill their plates, grab a drink and sit down. "Thanks for inviting us sweetie." My Aunt Sue smiles, kissing my cheek.

"You're welcome. I'm glad you guys could make it." I smile. "How are you, Uncle Jerry?"

"Good." He says, giving me a hug. "How about you and the kids?"

"Great." I say. "Time flies by with them. I can't believe my baby is already five."

He nods. "I know how it feels. My son is already twenty eight and my daughter is twenty five."

He calls his kids over and they give me a quick hug before getting food. When I see Tyler walk in with the kids, I excuse myself before meeting them at the door. "I'm hungry momma." Alex says, eyeing the food.

He doesn't look very happy so I pick him up. "What's the matter, baby?"

He looks down at his fingers. "I don't want to go with dad anymore."

I glance at Tyler who talks to my mom as they look down at a sleeping Addison. "Why? What happened?"

"He only likes the baby."

He wraps his arms around my neck and buries his face in the crook of my neck. I rub his back gently. "That's not true, sweetheart." I turn and kiss his cheek. "He loves you just like I do. The baby doesn't know how to do stuff like you do so she needs a lot of help and attention."

"I want food." He mumbles.

Setting him down, he follows me as I make him a plate. I leave him at the table with my dad before walking over to Tyler who is no longer holding Addison. "Where's the baby?" I ask.

"Your mom has her." He answers.

He grabs a plate and I sigh. "Ty... We need to talk."

As soon as I call him Ty he freezes. Putting the plate back down he follows me into the kitchen. The doors swing closed as I sit on the counter. "What is it?"

"Alex said he doesn't want to go over anymore."

He raises his eyebrows in surprise. "What?"

"He told me when you got here."

"Well what else did he say?" He asks.

"He said you only like the baby and I told him that's not true. I explained to him that she needs a lot more attention because she's a baby."

He sighs. "What am I supposed to do?"

I shrug. "I don't know." It's quiet for a long moment as we stare at the floor. "I think seeing us together and apart repeatedly kind of confused him. Then the baby came and now I'm with someone else. It's confusing for him and I think he was happier when we were together."

"I wasn't the one who broke up with you." He says softly.

The door opens and Dominic enters. I smile and jump off the counter. "Dominic, this is Tyler. Ty, this is my boyfriend Dominic."

They shake hands. "I've heard a lot about you." Dominic says.

Tyler nods. "It's nice meeting you. I'm gonna get something to eat."

He leaves us in the kitchen and Dominic looks at me questioningly. "What did he want?"

"I actually wanted to talk to him. Alex told me he doesn't want to go with him anymore because he thinks he likes the baby more. I had a talk with him though."

He wraps his arms around my waist and inhales deeply. "You smell so good." He smiles, leaning down to kiss my neck.

The smile on my face grows bigger as his hands slide down until they reach my ass. He nibbles on my ear and I bite my lip. "You're in a good mood."

"I missed you." He shrugs, pulling away and moving his hands up to my hips.

My hands slide up his chest and around the back of his neck as I peck his lips. "I really wish you would've invited your family."

He sighs, completely pulling away from me. "We already talked about this. We're not close like your family is."

"It's not too late to be close with them you know." I say quietly.

He drags a big hand over his face. "I don't want to talk about this. I'm hungry. Let's eat."

I let it go as we walk hand-in-hand to the line of food. After I'm done eating I take Addison from my mother and take her around to meet everyone. It turned out to be a great night.

My family helps me clean up and I lock up the diner before going upstairs with the kids and Dominic. Addison is asleep so I put her in her crib which is in my room. Dominic sits on the couch as I tuck Alex in. "Me and daddy both love you." I tell him. "You used to be little like Addison too, you know."

"Really?" He asks softly.

"Yeah." I nod. "I had to do the same things for you when you were born like change your diaper, take you a bath and feed you."

He scrunches his nose. "I was stinky like sissy?"

I smile. "Sometimes. But we love both of you the same. Do you think you could give daddy another chance? If you don't want to you don't have to but he really wants you to come over every once in a while."

He nods as he yawns. "Okay momma. I'll go to daddy's."

I smile. "Okay. Goodnight, baby."

"Mom?"

"Yeah?"

"Why do you call me baby when sissy is the baby?" He asks curiously.

"Because you were my baby before she ever was. You're both my babies. Now get some sleep. I love you." I say.

I lean down and kiss him before turning the light off and closing the door. Dominic is on the couch with his head laid back.

Sitting on his lap, I straddle his waist and begin kissing his neck. He groans as I begin moving my lips lower. As I undo each button on his shirt, I leave a kiss in its place. When I get towards the bottom, I move to the floor and kneel between his parted legs. "I'm sorry for stressing you out today." I say softly.

"It's okay." He says.

I reach for his belt, slowly moving it away. "Let me help you relieve some stress."

I unbutton his pants and reach for the zipper. Addison begins crying in the other room and I frown. "I'm so sorry."

He sighs. "Don't worry about it. I'm gonna go home tonight. I'll see you tomorrow."

I nod. Standing, I place a lingering kiss on his lips before going to my bedroom and changing Addison.
