We walk into the house and I follow closely behind Steven. He grabs onto my hand and leads me up the stairs. When we get to his room, he closes the door. "I can't believe you have never seen any of the Fast and Furious movies." He shakes his head in shock. "Have you been living under a rock?"

"They never interested me. The best part of the movies has to be Paul Walker. Because damn is he fine." I laugh.

He rolls his eyes. "You only think that because you've never watched them. There are some nice ass cars in there... and some nice asses." He winks.

I shake my head. "That's probably why you men like it - the half naked girls."

"You won't understand where I'm coming from unless you watch it."

He puts the movie in then joins me on his bed. We lean against the headboard and stare at the TV, the only thing lighting the room. After a while, he puts his arm around me and pulls me closer. I feel awkward. Maybe because I know he's attracted to me but I don't have any feelings for him. I missed him but that's because we were friends.

I yawn about half an hour into the movie and he pauses it. "Is it boring you that much?" He chuckles.

I shake my head. "No. I'm just tired. I woke up early this morning."

"Come on then. I'll take you home." He says.

We leave his bedroom and run into his mom and Tyler's mom at the front door. "Steven moved in pretty quick." Tyler's mom chuckles. "You've only been here for a week and he hasn't left you alone. Poor girl."

"It's about time Steven actually took a girl out on a date." His mom says. "I need him to settle down and make some grand-babies."

"Mom." Steven signs. "You're unbelievable."

"Goodnight." I say awkwardly.

Steven drives me home and walks me up to the door. "Sorry about my mom and aunt... Mostly my mom."

I smile. "It's fine. Thanks for dinner."

"No problem. Goodnight."

He leans in and I turn slightly so he kisses my cheek. "Look, I'm sorry, Steven. I thought it was supposed to be a friendly dinner - not a date. I'm sorry if I led you on in any way but you're my friend. Just my friend."

He smiles sadly, looking down at the ground. "It's fine. Thanks for letting me take you out. Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

When I walk into the apartment, there's a breeze through the place. Going further in, I find fans placed around the room and the walls are finished. The tape and plastic is gone and there isn't a speck of paint on the floor. It's amazing. Pulling out my phone, I dial Tyler's phone number. "Hello?" He answers tiredly.

"Did I wake you? I'm so sorry. I'll call later." I rush.

"It's fine. I'm awake. What did you need?"

"I wanted to thank you for finishing. As a thank you, I want to take you out." I say.

He's quiet for a long moment. "Where?"

"Dinner and a movie?" I ask. "Possibly a few drinks after."

"Okay. When?"

"Tomorrow at eight?" I ask.

"Sure. I'll text you tomorrow."

"Okay. Bye."

Because everything has to be taken up the stairs, I hire a team of movers to help me get all of myself from my parents garage to my place. It only takes a couple hours before everything is in place and I'm left with the boxes. I get Alex's room done first before moving on to the kitchen and living room. It isn't until almost three in the morning that I move on to my room. When I finish completely, I pass out on my bed.

Dinner went great although Tyler refused to let me pay. Now we stare at the screen that the movie is being projected on. Tyler grabs my hand and laces his fingers with mine, setting our hands on his thigh. I turn and look at him, slightly annoyed. "You won't kiss me but you want hold my hand?"

He glances at me, shocked I think. "Shh."

He returns to watching the movie and I pull my hand from out of his. I stare ahead in irritation until he takes my chin between his thumb and index finger and turns my head. His lips press to mine and I cup his cheek, kissing him back. My hand snakes around to the back of his head and I tug at his hair. He pulls away taking a deep breath. "Happy? Now watch the fucking movie." He whispers.

"Let's make out." I say softly.

He raises his eyebrows. "We're not in high school anymore, Mia."

"I never did it in high school." I hiss. "Are you really turning down an opportunity to make out with me in a dark room?"

"Good point."

His lips press to mine and I deepen the kiss. My hand rubs his thigh and he moans softly. I'm effecting him as much as he's effecting me. By the end of the movie, my lips are slightly swollen and I'm pretty sure I gave him a hickey. When the lights come on, he grins at me. "That was better than the movie."

"I agree." I chuckle.

He holds out his hand and I take it. We leave the movie theater and he heads back to my place. When we get to my door, I unlock it and invite him in. We sit on the couch and he pulls me onto his lap. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." I say, kissing the tip of his nose. "Stay with me tonight. I'm not ready for anything more than kissing but I don't want to be alone."

He smiles. "I'd love to."

His lips capture mine once more and I am lost in him. My feelings from four years ago are still lingering around and I can't help but want him.

His lips are so tempting. I want to feel them everywhere but I know it's too soon. I kind of want this to last but I can't tell if it's his lips convincing me or if I actually believe it.
