I wake up to the feeling of big hands massaging my back. I groan in appreciation. Dominic chuckles behind me. "Good morning."

My eyes pop open and I quickly turn over, making his hand land on my breast. He shakes his head chuckling as he pulls his hand away. "I fell asleep. I am so sorry."

He shakes his head. "Don't apologize. I took a long time to get that shit off of my hands." He holds up his hands which are now tinted gray from him scrubbing at the black. "And I still haven't gotten it off."

I smile then stretch, only to realize that I'm only in my bra and panties. The blanket is only covering my bottom half and he doesn't seem to notice. "Kiss me." I say softly.

Smiling he leans forward. I sit up, meeting him halfway. I feel like some kind of physical connection is long overdue. His hands rub up my back until he reaches my bra then he unhooks it and pulls away to look at me. I lay back on the bed as he pulls the material away. Making his way between my legs, he begins trailing kisses along my body. His tongue dances on my skin, kissing and teasing gently.

My phone rings and I ignore it until deciding I should answer it in case it's Tyler calling about the kids. I cup his face, forcing him to look at me. "I have to get that."

He sighs, looking away. Leaning forward I press a kiss to his lips before answering the phone. "Hello?"

"Hello. This is Janice Sullivan. I am calling for Mia." A woman says.

Furrowing my eyebrows I respond. "This is."

"Someone told me that you are the ex-girlfriend of Christian Wright. Is this true?"

I swallow audibly, glancing at Dominic. "Yes."

"I am the lawyer to a woman named Mallory Foster. She was raped by Christian Wright." She says. My heart beats rapidly in my chest and I pull the blankets to cover me. "He is currently in jail for sexual assault. We believe there are many women who have been through the same thing Miss Foster is going through. There are already three women who have came forward to tell their stories. If you have any information that could help, I'd like you to come to the trial."

I take a deep breath. "When is the trial?"

"Not until January. The judge gave me permission to find more people to help the case. Can you help?"

I bite my lip and watch as Dominic walks into the bathroom. "I don't really want to talk over the phone. If you can send me some more information on the trial I can try and make it."

"Sure thing. I'll email you when we get off the phone. If you decide to come, we can set up a private meeting to talk before the trial. I really hope you can come. It would really help."

"I'll try." I say softly. "Talk to you soon."

When I get off the phone I continuously update my email until I receive the email from Janice. I quickly scan over the information and sigh before climbing out of bed. Dominic walks out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. "I'm showering. Stay out."

"Let me join." He says.

I close the door. "Nope. And you're not forgiven for missing dinner last night."

I step into the shower and turn on the water. The door handle shakes and Dominic groans. "Babe, I'm sorry for last night. How can I make it up to you?"

"Well you can start by going to work right now."

"That's what got us here in the first place." He points out.

I begin washing my hair. "I just need some space. I have to go pick up the kids soon then visit my mom. You have to work anyways."

"I know." He's quiet for a long moment. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye."

I quickly finish up in the shower and then go into the bedroom. Dominic is already gone when I get out. Noticing his dirty clothes and towel on the floor, I quickly take care of them. As if cleaning up after my kids isn't enough. I get dressed then leave the house. First I go to my mom's house and explain what the lawyer said. "Well are you gonna go?"

"I really want to but I need someone to watch Addison." I say.

She furrows her eyebrows. "Addison? What about Alex?"

"He'll need to be there to help the case. They might make him get a paternity test done to prove he's really his child."

"What about Tyler? Why can't he watch Addison?" She asks.

I bite my lip as I stare down at my fidgety hands. "Mom... I think I'm going to ask him to go with me."

Her eyebrows raise in surprise. "But aren't you and Dominic still together?"

I shrug. "It's not very serious and I'm not sure it's gonna last. Tyler knows about Christian and I could use his help with Alex."

She nods. "I'll watch her. Just talk to Tyler about it."

I stand up and give her a hug. "Thanks. I'm going over there right now."

"Oh, don't forget about Christmas Eve. Everyone is meeting here at five for dinner."

After saying goodbye, I drive over to Tyler's house. Tyler's mom answers the door with a smile on her face. "Mia. Just the person I wanted to see." She says happily. "I was wondering if me and my husband could take Addison and Alex up to our lake house with us tonight. The community is having fireworks tonight in light of the holiday season. I figured it would give you and Tyler a break."

I nod. "Of course. Do you need me to get anything? Like clothes, formula, snacks - anything?"

She shakes her head. "We have everything we need. Thanks." She opens the door wider and allows me in. "We're gonna be leaving in a few minutes. We were just waiting for you to give us an answer."

I smile. "Okay. Have fun."

"Thanks. Tyler is in his room."

I climb the stairs and knock on Tyler's bedroom door. When it opens, he stands there with a towel wrapped around his waist, hanging dangerously low, his chest glistening from the beads of water left over from his shower. He dries his hair with another towel, a smirk playing on his lips. "Hey."

I can't help but stare at his abs. "Uh... So you've been working out. You look great."

I mentally punch myself. He chuckles. "Yeah I have. But it looks like you have to. You've lost a lot of weight. I would never guess that you've had two kids. You have an amazing body."

I clear my throat. "I wanted to talk about something. Want to grab a drink?"

He shakes his head. "I don't want to drink and drive. I have a few beers in the fridge, we can stay here."

"Then I'd have to drive home." I point out. "You can sleep on my couch."

He hangs his towel over his shoulder and leans in the doorway. "Are you asking me to spend the night with you?"

I roll my eyes. "Forget I even asked. I'll see you later."

He grabs my arm before I can walk away. "I'm just kidding. Let me get dressed and we can go."
