Alex's POV

I lay in bed tossing and turning. I can't sleep knowing Mitchie is all alone. I turn over and look to see what time it is. 2:00am. I'm never gonna get to sleep. I reach over to my bedside table and pick up my cell phone to text Mitchie.

A: you awake?

M: yeah, everything okay?

A :yeah I just can't sleep

M: me either :(

A: I'm gonna come over there

M: no baby. I don't want you getting into more trouble

A: It'll be okay. I just need to see you before they put me on lockdown.

I get out of bed slowly and carefully go down the stairs. I make it out the backdoor without making any noise. I hurry over to Mitchie's door and see her standing there waiting for me. Tears instantly spring to my eyes as I run into her arms.

"It's okay baby, I got you," she says trying to comfort me. "Let's go inside."

She pulls me into her house and takes me up to her bedroom. She pulls me down onto her bed with her and pulls the covers up over us.

"I love you, Mitchie."

"I love you too, Alex."

"What are we gonna do? I can't lose you," I whisper to her.

"I don't know yet baby, but you're not gonna lose me."

I tilt me head up and look into her eyes. I lean in and connect our lips.

Mitchie's POV

"Let me show you how much I love you," she whispers against my lips.

Wait, is she meaning what I think she's meaning?

"What do you mean baby?," I ask her.
