Sealed Box
This was actually kind of funny watching a drunken Benny Nielson fight with Blake Gunner who looks blunt half of the time.
Benny is tough talking from experience but I've never seen Blake punch someone before except from the party. That was just some random guy but I knew both these people.
"Not in my living room!" my mother yelled as she tried to pull them apart. I snapped out of my thoughts and immediately jumped in trying to break them up.
I held Benny back while my mother stood in the middle of them. Blake glared at Benny while he huffed. Blake had a blue eye by now while Benny had a bruise on his cheek.
"Now I don't know what the hell is going on between the three of you but you better sort it out before my husband gets home. I'll be upstairs and if I hear any furniture break or yelling I'll kick you out myself." My mother warned.
She stared at the three of us for a moment then took her cup of tea made her way up the stairs. Once my mother's bedroom door shut I spun around to see Blake glaring at Benny.
"Blake he's drunk, he doesn't know what his doing," I explained standing in front of them.
"What is he doing here? Wanna' cause more sh*t?" Benny asked swaying from side to side.
"F*ck off." Blake grunted pushing Benny to the ground.
"You dipsh*t!" Benny groaned trying to get up but Blake was quick as he pinned Benny to the ground. Straddling him Blake's eyes darkened as he started to punch Benny again.
"Stop it!" I yelled in a whisper trying to pull them a part.
"Blake please stop," I begged. With one last punch, Benny was knocked out cold.
I backed away looking at the scene in front of me. I knew he was going to be knocked out from all the alcohol he has consumed but not from the punches Blake gave him. Standing up, Blake turned around to face me.
"Had to find a way to shut him up." Blake shrugged as he sat down on the sofa.
I stood there frozen watching Benny's chest rise, okay good that meant he was still alive. No more dead bodies. I glanced over at Blake who had a look of boredom, like nothing happened.
I had no choice but to sit down next to him as we watched Benny on the floor. Bruises on his face, as he laid there in his Dracula costume and worn out converse.
"What time is it?" he asked after a while.
"Almost 3 in the morning." I replied looking at the clock on the wall. I let out a deep sigh, picturing myself in the warmth of my bed but unfortunately I'm here.
"If he was drunk how did he get here?" Blake questioned not taking his eyes off Benny. It's like he's waiting for him to wake up so he can just punch him again.
"Parker doesn't live too far from here, he must have walked." I wondered thinking why Benny would come here of all places.
"Can I crash here for the rest of the night? I don't trust him." Blake asked.
"Sure but it doesn't look like he is going to wake up anytime soon." I huffed leaning into the sofa.
"I'll wait." Blake said folding his arms.
As Blake continued to observe Benny I took the time to look at him. His brown hair was all messy, breathing heavily as I watched his nostrils really bringing out his nose ring. I then glanced down to his sweatpants, seeing the faint outline of a square in his pocket.
First I thought it was his phone but then it hit me. I looked up at Blake seeing him staring at me from the corner of his eye.
"Please?" I pouted gesturing to the box of cigarettes.
