A Day with the Brothers

I watched as he shut his eyes and cussed under breath. His Adam's apple commenced to bob up and down as he moaned.

"Your knee."

I raised my eyebrow as I glanced down realizing that my knee was lodged in between his thighs. I glanced back at him to see him biting his lip in agony.

At the corner of my eye I saw two feet standing in front of us, looking up I saw my dad.

Well this is an awkward position.

I immediately got up and put an innocent smile on my face as I stared at my dad. His eyes diverted to the guy groaning on the floor.

My dad and I watched as he got up and leaned on the staircase for support as he looked at us.

"I'm good thanks for asking." Axel retorted sarcastically.

"Is this going to happen every Saturday that a random guy comes to our house? If so let me know so that I can load my shotgun." Dad grunted as he glared at Axel.

"Err...dad meet Axel, he's Blake's older brother." I trailed off looking at Axel who was hunched over.

"I know who you are." Dad stated as he sipped his coffee formerly walking into his study.

"Nice to see you again Sheriff Willson!"

A puzzled look on my face as I stared at Axel while he grinned at my dad. I was confused as to why he was here and how dad knows him.

Maybe he was arrested previously.

Without another word I made my way down the hall hoping that he would follow. I caught a glimpse of how I looked in the side mirror seeing that my hair looked like a haystack.

Once we reached the kitchen I spun around and squinted my eyes at him. He took his time to walk as he rubbed his thigh in discomfort.

You could simply tell that him and Blake are brothers; same brown eyes, pointy nose, slick dark hair, olive skin and tattoos. But Axel wore a leather jacket so you could only grasp the tattoos on his hands.

"What are you doing here?" I insisted while fixing my hair to make it appealing.

"It's practically one in the afternoon and you look like a squirrel attacked you." He pointed out eyeing me up and down.

I rolled my eyes at his statement and folded my arms, waiting for an answer. He let out an exasperated sigh looking left and right before he spoke.

"You know that blonde chick with the ombre highlights?"

I stared at him with a look of confusion yet the first person to pop into my head was Kelly.

"My brother's girlfriend." He reminded with a grin spread across his face.

"Yeah what about Kelly?" I asked with a blank face.

"Oh that's her name. Well it's her birthday today and she's having a party tonight. Being the delayed son of a bitch that my brother is, he didn't get her anything yet." Axel stated while leaning against the counter.

"This still doesn't answer as to why you're here." I hissed causing him to put his finger up to sshh me as he continued.

"So he asked me what girls like and I'm like 'How the hell am I suppose to know? Does it look like I have boobs and va-"

"Just get to the point!" I claimed whilst cutting him off.

"Calm down pumpkin."

"As I was saying he got pissed because he didn't know what to get and I made him angrier. We got into a huge fight causing him to break mom's favourite vase. So he kicked me out and told me to come back when I have a present for Kim."
