"Are you scared because your dad is the sheriff?"
"Why do you keep on asking me that?"
"I won't stop until I get a proper answer."
Lana Jane Willson, just a depressed and misunderstood geeky teenager because of her glasses and her dad being the Sher...
"I don't wana go to jail...I don't look good in those orange jumpsuits!"
"This is all my fault."
"Everyone calm down!" Benny yelled as he hit the steering wheel.
"How the hell are we suppose to calm down? We have a dead body in the trunk, blood on our hands not to mention the murder weapon at Lana's house and you're telling us to calm down?" Nick shouted through the back seat.
"The worst part is your dad is a cop." Liam mumbled.
"Oh thanks captain obvious." Nick yelled.
"I'm so sorry guys this is all my fault, I should just go and confess." I cried looking down to my hands. They were shaking as I stared at the dry blood on it.
"It's not your fault Lana, it's those assholes fault. They did this to you." Benny muttered as he gripped the wheel.
All of our hands were covered in blood because we had to drag the guy out of the alley. All the evidence was there; my shoe, ripped pieces of my dress and now all our footprints. We tried our best to clear most of it but it was already dried up from the rain.
"Nick how far is your house from town?" Benny asked looking at the road.
Throughout the years that I have known Benny he wasn't one to show much emotion, well except anger obviously. I kept glancing at him back in the alley and he was clam while the rest of us freaked out. Other than a big jerk he was very observed.
"Twenty minutes why?" Nick asks as we all turn to Benny. He licked his lips nervously as he stared at the road, taking a deep breath he asked.
"Your dad still a builder?"
"Yeah." Nick mumbled.
...
"Here." Liam said as he gave me a shovel. We were currently in the forest far out from anywhere. Benny drove to Nick's house that had some shovels.
I never thought I would be burying a body, especially since I killed the poor man.
"Okay here's good." Nick said as we stopped walking. We've been walking for the past ten minutes. Nick and Benny carried the body by the arms and legs while Liam and I held the shovels.
They placed the body on the ground as I handed Benny a shovel. We began to dig where the ground wasn't too hard but not too soft. None of us spoke as we dug, too deep into our thoughts thinking what will happen next.
"Alright that's deep enough." Liam sighed as he wiped the sweat of his forehead with the back of his hand. The whole was deep as I bent over to glance down, perfect for a middle-aged man.
I watched as all three of them picked up the guy and gently put him in the hole. They began to dig as I stood there. I fell to my knees as the tears started to fall. I silently cried as I watched them dig. From the corner of my eye, I saw Liam looking at me.
"I can't believe I did this." I cried as Liam ran over to me.
