"Are you scared because your dad is the sheriff?"
"Why do you keep on asking me that?"
"I won't stop until I get a proper answer."
Lana Jane Willson, just a depressed and misunderstood geeky teenager because of her glasses and her dad being the Sher...
I've probably walked around this park twice already. I'm currently on my fourth cigarette as I stopped to look at my surroundings. Most people my age and younger are at the park since it's a Thursday afternoon.
Old people sitting on benches were feeding the birds while kids played on the playground. Yet my eye caught the familiar boy hiding his blonde curly hair under his beanie.
I shook my head in disappointment thinking Miranda went through all that for nothing. It was just a coincidence that Marcus left the same time Blake came to the party. Well not a coincidence since Kelly planned all of it.
I watched as Parker handed the guy a bag in return for cash. Once the guy was gone he spun around with a smug look on his face.
"If nobody is gonna' come after me, you can still be my customer." He said winking at me in which I rolled my eyes at.
"Nope, I'm done with those," I stated throwing my hands up in surrender. He chuckled as he viewed the money and then held one note up and observed it.
"I love me some Benjamin Franklin." He said gesturing to the $100.
"Why did you tell us all of that?" I asked inhaling the tobacco as it came in contact with my lips.
"It's a warning," he said anxiously licking his lips as he glanced around before talking again. "Kelly won't stop until she gets what she wants."
As soon as those words fled from his lips he spun around and walked off leaving me wondering. I scanned the park seeing an empty swing set not too far.
I began walking towards it and plopped myself down onto the tyre swing in the centre. As I inhaled the sweet scent between my lips I couldn't help but think of what Miranda had said twenty minutes ago.
I haven't gotten addicted to them and I don't depend on them. I only smoke to take the pain away. I don't know when last I got a full night of sleep and with everything happening I have to have something that will take it all away.
At the corner of my eye I saw movement, looking up I saw Carter, Ethan, Aidan and Blake. They watched me with a blank look on their faces as I blew out smoke rings.
"Hey, Lana," Aidan said breaking the comfortable silence. I watched as he sat on the swing to my right.
Carter followed in sync as he sat on the swing that was on my left and Ethan sat on the end by Aidan.
"You reek of tobacco." Carter pointed out as he swung back and forth on the rusty swing.

"You reek of sex but you don't see me complaining." I muttered then threw my cigarette on the ground and watched it crumble.
At the corner of my eye, I could see Blake chuckling as he walked around us. There were only four swings so heavens know where he's going to sit.
