Won't shut up for free

"Hope you got a killer excuse, Willson," Aidan mumbled as we walked through the school doors.

It was the period before lunch and needless to say, I was scared. Turning to Aidan, I raised my eyebrow at his statement.

"How do I know you're not just using me again?" I ask as we walk through the quiet hallway.

"Well we just had P.E and I heard we played dodgeball again. You do not want to be in the same room with my cousin when we're playing that." He chuckled as he gripped the straps of his backpack.

Not knowing what to say, I just kept quiet as we walked.

"Ouch!" he grunted. I turned back to see that while he was walking a door flew open and hit him in the face. I tried to keep in a laugh as he rubbed his head. The person who opened the door held a smirk on his face as he looked at us.

"Well, well, well look who we have here." Parker sang as he shut the door.

He was wearing a reasonably long coat with combat boots. Since every guy had his purpose in high school, Parker was the 'go to guy' because he didn't play any sports. If you needed sold out concert tickets, matches, knives, fake ID cards or even condoms, Parker was your guy.

"What do you want?" Aidan asked while glaring at Parker. It was still kind of weird to see the happy outgoing Aidan Rowley be rude to his 'friends'.

"You missed Chemistry," Parker replied with a sly grin.

"Does it look like I care?" Aidan barked as he stared at his ex-friend.

"Since you have such a clever mouth I'll just tell Mrs-"

"No!" I chimed in as I grabbed Parker's arm, holding him back from entering the classroom again. His brown eyes met mine but then he looked down at the grip I had on him.

"Dude it's Friday come on," Aidan whined as I dropped my hand, taking a step back.

"Well, I won't shut up for free." Parker hinted as he looked at us.

"Name your price..." Aidan sighed as he took out his wallet. Parker shook his head as he opened his coat, revealing pocket knives on the one side and pills on the other side. My eyes widened as I stared at the items, don't the teachers hear the clutter when he walks?

"How can I when you haven't purchased anything?" he hummed swaying from side to side.

"You got gum?" I asked looking at him. He raised his eyebrow as he took a step closer to me. At the corner of my eye I could see Aidan smirk.

Parker was only a few inches taller than me as he stood right in my face. He leaned forward as my eyes widened. He then sniffed me like a dog and smirked.

"Wow next time can I come?" he asked looking between Aidan and me.

"Do you have gum or even mints?" I ask getting quite annoyed by his stalling.
