Sad Eyes

Levi was well known in elementary school for his pranks and humorous gestures. Ethan and Aidan obviously knew him but Carter came at the beginning of middle school. Blake arrived only this year so they won't know each other.

I squinted my eyes as I watched them become remarked by everyone. Girls crowded them as guys checked out their cars.

At the corner of my eye, I could see Levi and Keene stroll towards them. I threw my cigarette on the ground and crushed it as I leaned against the wall. Levi spun around and gave me a questioning look.

"You coming or are you waiting for an invitation?"

I gave him an innocent smile as I shook my head. No way was I going to let them know I was here, especially with Levi Radcliff.

"I'm comfortable here," I said flickering my eyes towards the crowd. "Good luck."

Levi raised a brow as he took in my strange behaviour. He rolled his eyes as he gestured for Keene to follow him. I wandered against the wall as I watched Levi. As soon as people spotted him they began to part like the freaking red sea.

Ethan was leisurely leaning on his Lamborghini as Aidan sat on the hood of his Subaru. All eyes were on Levi and Keene as they approached the cars.

Keene stopped in the middle as he gazed at Carter who had a girl wrapped around his waist. I watched as Keene smirked while Levi walked around their cars, taking in every detail. Aidan got off the hood of his car and stared at Levi in suspicion.

"Nice car too bad it's a piece of sh*t." Levi stated as he touched the Subaru.

Wow wait to go Levi, what better way to introduce yourself than to call someone's car sh*t.

"Interesting," Aidan said while moving his head. "Let me just write that on my list of things I don't give a sh*t about."

There were a few snickers and whispers as Levi strolled over to Aidan. He let out a dry laugh as he towered over him.

"It's kind of hilarious watching you trying to fit your entire vocabulary into one sentence."

I clenched my fists as Aidan's jaw tightened; he eyed Levi up and down taking in his appearance.

"Who the f*ck are you?"

Levi laughed again, finding this whole situation hilarious. I glanced over at Ethan seeing him eye Levi apprehensively. Carter was still getting strange looks from Keene while Blake just stood one side smoking.

"Wow, your memory must suck."

I couldn't stand to hear this any longer as I looked at my surroundings. There was the local pub where everyone hung out while the races took place. I decided to go in there while they bickered.

I entered the pub seeing guys who appeared to be around my age and older. They gave me flirtatious looks in which I rolled my eyes at.

I made my way over to the bar and sat down on a stool. There was a flat screen TV displayed above showing outside; they had cameras all around the city. It showed Levi and Ethan talking but you could see the tenacity in their eyes.

A random guy appeared and broke the two up. From his mouth he must have said something about the race beginning. Levi gave a simple nod as he turned to Ethan and Aidan. Guess they're racing tonight.
