Old Times
Kelly West
Jennifer Brighton
Melissa Singe
The three bitchest girls in school. Also known as the 'Perfects' with their designer clothing, perfect hair, fake tan, long ass nails and failed nose jobs.
It was also the day when the guys took me home and I saw Jennifer in the other car and I ducked. Blake couldn't get enough of Jennifer since he said and I quote 'spoilt ass bitch'.
Now seeing him sucking faces with Kelly West made me angry, not jealous. I repeat, not jealous.
Just seeing him with girls like that when he was just talking trash about one of them, just shows what kind of guy he is.
I tried to play it off and make my way to an open seat, which was in the middle of the class. The tables were joined so I sat alone.
I looked at the clock, two more hours to go.
How fun.
I took my homework out that I was supposed to do today for Mr. Bronx and also the homework we got for today. I sat there quietly and did my work, Aidan would throw notes at me but I completely ignored him as I tried to do my work. As I was thinking of an answer I drifted off thinking.
I can't believe I got my first detention by my favorite teacher. Mr. Bronx must be really disappointed in me if only I could explain to him my whole situation I'm going through right now. Wonder what he'll tell my dad when he comes over for dinner again.
It was normal that Mr. Bronx comes over for dinner once a month and it was honestly so much fun seeing my dad cool off and not so serious for once.
My thoughts were interrupted when I felt someone sit next to me. I saw blonde locks at the corner of my eye and immediately sighed.
"What do you want Carter?" I asked continuing with my work.
"Will you be my date to homecoming?" he whispered in my ear.
The sound of 'homecoming' sent shivers down my back. I completely forgot about homecoming, it's next week and I still didn't have a dress. I didn't bother with school dances and that sh*t.
Usually, when guys asked me I would be so gullible to say yes and then on the night they either don't show up or they do and just find ways to humiliate me.
I stared at Carter waiting for some funny reaction out of him but he just kept his face as hot and neutral.
"What? Why? Me..." I muttered the last part raising a brow. There must be some catch to it. Never in my life, I would think Carter Halls would ask me, Lana Willson, to homecoming.
"Just...I would like to take you to homecoming because you're cool." he shrugged trying hard not to make eye contact.
"Ugh...yeah right," I mumbled but he clearly heard me.
"Look I'm sorry okay...I truly am, Ethan told me he said sorry to you and it made me realize that I should be doing the same thing because you're different and if we weren't such bastards back then we would have all been friends or something," he said shaking his head. "But no we judged a book by its cover."
Yeah, all the bully started back in middle school when we had dance class, I was paired up with Benny. He couldn't dance and he would get so annoyed telling me I can't dance so he went and told the whole school I suck at dancing and that led to people making fun of me, teasing me and eventually beating me up but it stopped at the beginning of junior year just for two months then it went back to normal.
