"Are you scared because your dad is the sheriff?"
"Why do you keep on asking me that?"
"I won't stop until I get a proper answer."
Lana Jane Willson, just a depressed and misunderstood geeky teenager because of her glasses and her dad being the Sher...
Mid-year examinations aren't going so great. These past few days have been very tiring. Well speaking from someone who barely sleeps because when they do they get nightmares?
Staring at my locker, I sighed. We're writing Calculus in a few minutes and I feel sleepy. Good thing I have these pills keeping me up.
I took the last one out of my bottle and sighed. I need a refill. Gulping down the tablet I shut my locker and threw the empty bottle in the trashcan.
The sound of the bell deafened me as I groaned. Strolling down the hall, I could see the familiar camel color coat and beanie approaching me.
"Hey Lana." he greeted giving me a weird look.
"Err...hi Parker," I said while trying to stand up straight.
"You okay?" he asks tilting his head to the side and holding his arms up in case I fell.
"Yeah I just... ran out. I need more." I stated looking down to his coat where he hid everything.
"You sure? It's like the fourth bottle you bought," he said raising his eyebrow at me.
"Please! Just a few more days and I'll be out of your misery." I begged while looking at him. Parker anxiously bit his lip as he thought over. Looking over both shoulders he sighed taking out two bottles.
"I'll pay you as soon as I get cash," I exclaimed reaching out for it but he pulled back.
"How can I trust you?" he squinted at me but I noticed the corner of his mouth pull up. If I had money I would have paid him straight up but I just needed the pills now and I hoped he'd understand.
"Come on we've known each other since fourth grade, you should trust me by now, plus I'm friends with Aidan so..." I trailed off eyeing the bottles in his hand.
"Okay." he sighed thrusting the bottles towards me. I quickly snatched it and twist the lid, popping one into my mouth I swallowed.
"Lana I'm sorry for what happened in junior year. I'm really f*cking sorry and I get that you hate me." he stated.
"Whatever Parker." I said ignoring his apology. "No one must know okay? It happened, it's in the past."
"Heard that Radcliff is coming." he said.
"Yeah."
"He's gonna cause sh*t you know?"
"Yeah."
"Him and his friend are gonna find out." Parker said.
"Yeah...Levi Radcliff always finds out." I admitted as I began to walk away.
"Just go easy on those..." he sighed gesturing to the pills while marching off.

Rolling my eyes, I stuffed the bottles in my bag and made my way to Mr. Bronx's class. I was already late and this was one of the important tests.
I pushed the door open then walked in. Everyone was sat by his or her desk, as they got ready for the test. Mr. Bronx was in the middle of handing it out when he spun around.
