"Are you scared because your dad is the sheriff?"
"Why do you keep on asking me that?"
"I won't stop until I get a proper answer."
Lana Jane Willson, just a depressed and misunderstood geeky teenager because of her glasses and her dad being the Sher...
Who do you think this song is aimed at? Lol I love it :)
A Thing or two
"Hey." I greeted while getting into Benny's car. Putting on my seatbelt, I turned to him, seeing that we haven't moved yet.
"Morning." He breathed out while staring at the road.
"Are you okay?" I asked looking at him. He wore a hoodie with a pair of jeans but the thing that really caught my eye was that he had bags under his eyes.
"Yeah." He mumbled while starting the car. We drove in silence as I tried to remember what happened last between us.
"Did you have another nightmare?" I guessed looking at him. Not once since I got into the car has he looked at me.
"Maybe."
Okay that's not it. Besides the fact that he was drunk and we talked about nightmares I don't really know what's wrong with him...
Unless he remembers what he said when he was drunk.
"I luv choo."
My eyes widened as I glanced over to Benny. Maybe he doesn't remember.
"Are you okay?" I asked again.
"Yeah, just stressing over mid-year exams." He added while tapping the steering wheel repeatedly.
"We still have thanksgiving and then a few more weeks till mid year exams." I added while putting on my glasses. Maybe this was a bad idea, I should just learn to drive more maybe then dad will get me a car.
"Yeah." Benny said. I bet he wasn't even listening, there's a difference with Benny when he's being mature and when his distracted. Right now he is distracted.
The rest of the drive to school was awkward as I just stared out the window. The radio wasn't on and it was cold, just another typical Monday morning in Illinois.
Getting out of the car, I already saw Benny making his way towards the building, totally forgetting that he has friends. I looked around seeing Miranda, Liam and Marcus.
"What's up with him?" Liam asked referring to Benny who ignored everyone who greeted him.
"He was quiet the whole ride." I replied.
"How was the party?" I asked Miranda. She had a goofy smile on her face as she looked at Marcus.
"Amazing." She slurred as Marcus whispered in her ear.
"A night to remember." Marcus added. I rolled my eyes at the clingy couple and looked over to Liam.
"Heard you got drunk off your ass." I smirked at the brunette boy.
"I wasn't that drunk." Liam said rolling his eyes.
"Yet you jumped in the pool from the roof and kept yelling out Marco!" Marcus said laughing.
"And nobody said polo." Liam frowned looking at his feet.
"If I was there I would have said polo." I smiled putting my hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, but you were too busy with a certain someone." Miranda mentioned smirking at me.
